Sterling Gardens Hotel — Hotel in Las Vegas

I've been here for three days and have had No issues whatsoever. The room is gigantic, super clean and comfy. No bugs whatsoever and staff was extremely friendly at check-in. Great swimming pool too! Not to mention the affordable price 1st week is a little pricey but only because they do require a 100$ refundable deposit. I did talk to someone and said they had or heard of them holding deposits, but i will update review at end of my stay. I'm assuming that this person probably was smoking cigarettes or weed or something in their non smoking rooms that or they broke something.which does remind me of one thing, ill make note of it here.my bathroom door does have a crack in it like a previous tenant maybe kicked it or something like that, I'm sure their aware of this and wouldn't dare hassle me for the damages but its best to note any thing like this just for my record and my piece of mind. So far i must say I'm very impressed. Will update accordingly. Total move in was about 350 -100 of it being refunded day of check out.these days thats an awesome low low rate for a weekly, even in the ghetto. UPDATE stayed for 6 weeks LOVEDDDD IT AWESOME OWNER IF YOUR NOT AN IDIOT AND POSSESS JUST A LITTLE COMMON SENDSE, *no issues whatsoever getting my 100 deposit( but don't expect to get it back when you check out at 11 at which is there check out time you need to wait for the maid to check your room so I believe it's anytime after 12 I pick mine up about 2:00 that afternoon no problems whatsoever. NOT ONE SINGLE BUG ROACH BED BUG ANT NOTHING IN 6WEEKS!! amazing relaxing IMMACULATELY CLEAN pool (closes at dark and no room for negotiating on that . I tried lol) women in office is just wonderful. Quiet stays to her self but nevertheless friendly and had I needed anything I do believe she would have done her very best to be accommodating last thing I'm going to say is if you're planning on staying there for a while just make sure we went to paid at 11 a.m. or they will knock on your door and continue to knock until you pay your rent but this is business I understand. She was amazed we're never ever rude about it they just wanted their money and which is completely understandable and acceptable. What I say here again absolutely in a heartbeat 250 a week price never changed, like most weekly rentals around Vegas I was definitely bummed to leave. Will return soon I hope NO NOISE FROM FREMONT AND EVERYONE WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY OR IF UR LIKE ME AND A BIT OF A LOANER, THEN EVERYONE WAS RESPECTFUL OF THAT TOO. sweetest grey cat that loves to greet u and escort u to your room. I stayed for I believe 9 months!!! I WAS SUPER GRATEFUL THAT KEN ALLOWED ME TO STAY!!! I AM STILL IN LOVE WITH STERLING GARDENS AND KEN TO THIS DAY! I was going through a learning lesson in my life!! This is where I needed to be. The rooms are super cute and I LOVED THEM! THE ROOMS ARE ALL THEMED DIFFERENTLY! If there is an ISSUE... WHATEVER IT IS... KEN WILL FIX IT IN A TIMELY MANNER!!! NO MATTER THE ISSUE!! OR HE WILL MOVE YOU ROOMS!!! PERIOD!! MAITANENCE IS AMAZING AND HONEST!! I WILL ONLY SPEAK FOR MYSELF... FOR THE UNFORTUNATE SITUATION I WAS IN... I WAS SUPER GRATEFUL TO BE THERE!!! SO I NEVER EVER FORGET THAT!!! HONESTLY IF KEN WOULD RENT ME THIS SPECIFIC ROOM FOR A LONGTERM LEASE... I WOULD MOVE BACK IN A HEART BEAT!!! I go to Las Vegas about every 3-4 months and I booked this hotel. The area around the hotel is very unsavory. The hotel exterior and courtyard is nice and clean, but it is wide open for anyone to walk into the hotel area. They also have about half of there rooms rented to full-timers. Bring your own security. When I checked in they would not accept my Debit/Credit card for the deposit, they wanted cash or credit card with no debit on it. So I had to give them $100 in cash The room was nice and big but the mattress and pillows were both wrapped in plastic. So every time you moved in bed because your head was sweating from the plastic pillow it would crackle and wake you up. We had to go to Walmart and buy pillows to sleep on. The room had tile floor all through it which I thought was nice. After I walked around the floor, I went to take a shower. As I started to shower the water ran down onto my feet and all this BLACK DIRT started to rinse off. You thought that I had been walking around on an oil-covered asphalt street, not a hotel tile floor. I had no shower shoes so for all three mornings when I showered it happened each time. I assume that the floors are swept with a broom, but never mopped. The bathroom tile was cracked(patched in three different tiles) and they used caulking to fill in the gaps. So after three days of no sleep, I went to check out and get my deposit back. They told me that I would have to wait anywhere from 3-7 hours for my deposit because the maid needs to check the room for damage and would not be in for another 21/2 hours and the manager needs to get the cash. So I waisted 4 hours waiting on them and got my deposit back at 11:30 am, instead of driving home. NEVER AGAIN...
