Pool is closed!!!!! The bed are horrendous!!!!
The staff was excellent, so excellent we even made a special trip down to tip the woman who was setting up and maintaining breakfast. Breakfast was typical hotel but clean and the fruit was always fresh. The hotel was also very clean.
As Someone who traveled for work for 12 years Iâve stayed in more than my fair share of hotels. Extended stay places never have great beds but this was so horrible my husband and I are still recovering from the back pain two days later. My husband even opted to stay on his sisters couch the last night we were there his back was so rough. The sofa bed had wires sticking out of it, even though it looked to be brand new, that were so dangerous we had to take the mattress off and put it on the floor for kids. It is an all spring mattress like feel every spring in your back mattress.
Housekeeping is always different in extended stay places but we were there 4 nights and they never came. On the third day I saw 2 talking about what was left and I asked about my room and they said I wasnât on todayâs list but offered to come change towels and anything we needed. I knew they were trying to leave so I just got dishwasher soap and let them go but ⌠4 days is a long time to not do a refresh. We ran out of trash bags and the recycling waa overflowing to say the least. . Past experiences were every other day or set days of the week like tue,Thur and satâŚ.
Worst part for us the pool was closed. Not just temporary out of service but hasnât been inspected closed! There should be a notice on the website for long term closures like this. After a 7 hour drive with our kids it is not simple to just pick up and move hotels so we stayed but the pool was a big part of the plan for wearing the kids out. Our trip was to care for a loved one who had major surgery and the kids having excess energy was not helpful.
We booked through Priceline and were compensated for the issue that being said we hope they note it on their site not just on a paper you sign checking in.
Thank you to the staff for working so...
Read moreService is subpar they talk nice put on a good show. Sanitation definitely a problem down to the caked up dirty grill they offer to cook on to the laundry room with washers/dryers full of dog hair to the fingerprints on every door/glass and elevator also canât forget the food stuck in the elevator door track every morning not to mention I stayed here for 14 day stay and only seen housekeeping come once if your looking for house keeping just donât! Go to the front desk service is faster there and maybe your request wonât be ignored and they will remember. Breakfast if your looking for grey/brown eggs and sun dried ham and stale bread this is your spot yum. And the only hotel I ever received a stained pillow/case that looked like someone cleaned up vomit with it maybe they thought I wouldnât flip my pillow but the icing on the cake was when I got charged $40 on the last two days that couldnât be explained nor showed up in the system for hours until they charged me a second time and as I began to question it at the front desk they went to their default answers saying it was for incidentals yet they already charged my credit card $100 then charging a debit card they should of never had on file because they already had done so with the visa credit card I provided when I checked in & some how the cards got switched in the system but charged both cards⌠donât normally complain but why lie service was below what they claim to be. I stayed here twice before each time for about a week and these charges never happened and now I guess itâs apart of their policy to charge people twice for incidentals as they called it saying it was for internet or a movie both things I donât use them reverted back to the incidentals answer⌠but I was assured that it be returned to my cardsâŚdefinitely a little confused and annoyed with their actions⌠seems like they hired some people and work ethic and quality left⌠definitely night and day change compared to my...
Read moreOnly been here for one night on a 90 day stay. We travel the country as a family working in health care. Hotels have been hit or miss. So lets go over what we found here so far.
So, all in all, if you need a hotel in this area (this is the third local extended stay we have used) this seems to be the one to be at.
Will update as the stay goes on if there are any really good or bad...
