IHOP — Restaurant in Lincoln

The service sucks, they messed up my order, we were there for a good 2 1/2 hours, and we didn’t get our food until the last half hour. They didn’t serve one order until everyone was practically finished with their stacks of pancakes. They messed up and overcharged us, then claimed, “We won’t get payed back until a few business days.” They had about 5 people working, and they were all ditzy. These two girls kept goofing off and hanging out by the entrance while not paying attention to anyone at all. The service was so bad that we actually had to stand up and wave to get someone to come to our table. The burger I ordered was very burnt, and did not follow my order, and at one point they came over giving us something we did not order, and at this point everyone but one person had their food, and it almost seemed like they had wrote down the wrong thing, and we had to remind them that we were waiting on a burger, so they probably put the burger in then and that’s why that order was messed up. All in all, it was terrible....

Pretty bad experience both times I've been here. Really didn't want to review this place because I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was just too awful. First time I went I had an omelet that was just not good it was cold in the center and was about on par with those breakfast sandwiches you get from fast food places that seem like they might be partially made of rubber. The next time I got a salad with a rotted root in it and fish and chips. The fish and chips were ok but about the quality of what you get from the freezer section. The salad they exchanged for some pancakes which are pretty hard to mess up so those were fine. Frankly this place is way too overpriced for the quality of food they are serving. That being said it's still pretty cheap there just really seems to be a lack of quality control. I hope that my experiences were just bad luck but unfortunately, as much as I don't enjoy doing it I had to leave...

Aside from the server forgetting my drink the entire time I was there or the food I ordered coming out wrong and cold, i ordered the plant based sausage excited to try it with my avocado toast. I asked what brand it was and the server seemed annoyed, stepped away for a while to where I had to grab my own hot sauce and jelly because she never came back. When she did finally come back she still had no idea the brand of sausage. She Went off again and when she came back she said no one knows what brand the plant based sausage. How..? How does an establishment not know what they serve? How am I supposed to feel confident about what I’m eating if you don’t even know what I’m eating. How does an establishment not know which brand of food gets ordered and comes in on their delivery. If the cooks don’t know what they’re cooking I’m sure they have no idea about cross contamination. Huge red flag. Would not...
