Unfortunately my family and I had a very horrible experience. My children attended the school for a little under 3 months, within those 3 months I was handed 10 or more accident/incident reports of them having been hurt at school. It ranged from falling off chair and smacking face on ground to falling off slide etc. Etc. I am very understanding to these situtations as I see it with my own eyes each and every day. My children are 2 going on 3. They are climbing everything and into everything. After being handed over a course of 3 months multiple accident reports I sent the children to this school after one of my children being hurt on the step outside of the door of the daycare and my other child falling at a play date they had after school both had scratches on them. I sent them to school the following day and explained to the teacher what happened with the kids as they already knew about one fall being outside their school the morning before at drop off. I explain she had fallen at a friend's house and I had my mother who is a nurse look at her scrap near her eye and she was fine. I sent the children to school the following day and I receive a phone call from dcyf at 4 pm in the evening explaining to me that the daycare had concerns and we have your children. I am taken back by this not understanding what is going on when I took the time to talk to the teacher about what happened earlier that morning. After the horror event of getting to hospital and getting my children back a couple hours later and most certainly found not guilty of abusing my children I had to stay out of work and find a new daycare. They are very unorganized to the point where I have accident reports they gave me that they don't have on file themselves. I am appalled at the way this daycare is run and the building needs to be updated so the children are not getting hurt. The video cameras they have outside of the school do not work and they are there for no purpose. This place needs to either be shut down or needs to be...
Read moreAs the director of this center, our first priority is safety for all the children and staff. Our center is newly located in Lincoln and has been totally renovated. We have been continuously inspected by DHS to ensure we are meeting all the regulations provided to us. We provide accident reports for any child that may suffer an injury at our center along with a phone call to the parent. An incident is reported to the parent when the child is unsafe to other children, staff, and them self. We set up Classroom Success Plans to assist any child that may be struggling with behavior issues as well as offer outside resources for the child. In an event that a child needs one to one care in a general classroom setting, we offer resources for that as well. When a child receives multiple incidents over a period of time and there is no support put in place from the family to assist this child, we do dismiss the child from our center to ensure the child receives the proper support that is needed. Our goal is to provide a positive and safe learning experience for all children at our center. If a family is struggling financially with tuition, we do recommend they utilize the Child Care Assistance Program which we gladly accept. We also work closely with DCYF to provide care to children placed in Foster care. We welcome outside supports such as Autism Learners Partners, Early Intervention and the Lincoln public school resource support team for any child that may have an IEP or may need other necessary accommodations. Our goal is to ensure every child receives the best, safest, and fun learning experience...
