I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this location. First, Dennis answered all my questions quickly and helped me find the best plan and device for my needs. He walked me through the options and made me feel comfortable and confident with my decisions. Second, while I was in the store I witnessed an altercation with another customer and was impressed by the calm and professional way everyone handled themselves. A couple attempted to enter the store and were calmly informed that the current policy allows one customer per representative. The gentleman was also asked to please put a mask on. He refused to put his mask over his nose or leave the store, despite being informed repeatedly of the policy. He eventually left the store asking his partner to deal with “these a** clowns.” She began swearing at the manager and was also asked to leave. The man came back into the store yelling, swearing, and hurling both racial and homophobic insults at the staff. Dennis made sure I was able to step well away from this gentleman to remain safe. Through out this entire tirade the manager remained calm and repeatedly asked the man to leave the store. I am so impressed by the way the manager and staff handled the situation. Read moreSo I went in to buy an iPad and add a line to my account around the end of June. When walking in I was greeted by a woman who helped me with the process of adding a line and getting the equipment I needed. I purchased the iPad out right and was handed the box. I asked if I had to do anything and was told no. I get home and the iPad will not work unless it’s connected to WiFi. The whole reason for buying this iPad and adding a line was to be able to use without WiFi. So I called the store and was asked if she gave me a SIM card. The answer was NO! I then had to go back to the store and get a SIM card installed. Since then, the iPad has never works with the use of WiFi. I had to spend an entire day off trying to contact customer support and prove to them who I was in order to get this activated. Four times they asked me at tech support why this wasn’t completed at the store I purchased it from. Good question, I would like to know the answer to this as well. Read moreYesterday, I started to have issues with my current iphone 12, and I had went online to order a 13 to pick up from the Smithfield store.(The ATT wesbite said they had two in stock, so I put an online order so I knew one would be held for me,) After a few hours, I noticed there was no update, so I called the smithfield store to find out they know nothing about my order, and they told me just to come down and they would help me because they have the phone in stock, and they have 14s. I go in to find out the guy completly lied to me, and he refused to help because he didnt want to mess up my online order. I called this location and got the wonderful Sales Associate Mario, who told me to come right down and he would help me. I came into the store, and he was helping out 3 different customers, and was completly awesome. Very personable, knows how to have a conversation, and helped with everything. Even though I had to sit there for 2 hours because my new phone needed to update, he always came over to check to see how I was doing and we sat and talked.
