Horror story of a dentist. I saw Dr. Ben for my 2x/year cleaning beginning in January 2023. Things went fine until my cleaning in September 2024. What was supposed to be a routine cleaning appointment turned into a nightmare when I got home and saw a chunk of my right lateral incisor missing and a scrape down the entire length of the tooth. I immediately called the office to talk to Ben to understand what had happened to my perfect tooth and that I needed this new divot and scrape in my tooth to be fixed. Ben said that "he had no tools that could have done this" and never took responsibility saying instead that "removing plaque can uncover these issues" - removing plaque and removing a piece of someone's tooth and then scratching the length of it's surface is entirely different. The bonding he put on the tooth lasted one week. I went back again and he put on more bonding but also somehow a black mark or small hair mixed into the bonding. He fixed it again. That time it lasted two weeks. I went back again, entirely distraught and frustrated that he permanently disfigured my tooth and solutions weren't working. When I went back again in October 2024 to have that bonding replaced for the fourth time it was chipped/snarled on the bottom of the tooth, but I dealt with it. The emotional distress of this issue that he caused due to negligence and his poor dentistry has cost me time away from work, immense stress, and a dental issue in the front of my smile that I will have to deal with for the rest of my life. There is absolutely no way this kind of damage should happen during a routine teeth cleaning. The bonding from October lasted 6 months until this weekend when again, it fell out. I called the office today to get in to have Ben fix his mistake again when he had his very nervous dental assistant, Juan (who was present during the destruction of my tooth in September 2024), call me to say they are dismissing me as a patient. Ben does not want to deal with his error and mistake ever again. I let Ben know that I will either a) allow him to pay for bonding treatments as they are needed throughout my lifetime from another dentist I will be going to, or b) get our legal teams involved in a much more expensive way (targeting Ben and Juan) to get to the bottom of a permanent financial solution to my dental care for this issue. Juan let me know he will be emailing me today after talking to Ben about these options. It cannot go without saying that I referred two friends to Ben, as well, and I recently learned that both of them have since stopped going to him due to concerns over issues he caused to their gums and sides of their teeth. Neither have left online reviews - SO BEWARE. Ben has great reviews online, he seems understanding and warm in person, which all drew me to him in the first place - however when something goes wrong - that he 100% caused - he is out of his depth in solving the issue. And then, he will dismiss you as a patient without taking responsibility for his actions. Ben is a very poor dentist for both routine teeth cleanings and also cosmetic work. Steer clear. In the double photo below, the top photo is the damage he caused to my lateral incisor during my cleaning in September 2024 and the bottom is one of his attempts at restoring my tooth to what it looked like when I walked in for my appointment. The other stand-alone photo is what my tooth looked like this weekend when the bonding fell off. I just wish I never walked into his office.

The Best Dentist Experience I’ve Ever Had – Thank You, Dr. Ben! If I could give Dr. Ben more than five stars, I absolutely would. After years of dental anxiety, bad experiences, and unnecessary treatments from other offices, I can finally say I’ve found a dentist I trust completely—and that’s not something I say lightly. From the second I walked into Dr. Ben’s office, I knew this would be different. The space is incredibly clean, modern, and calming. It doesn’t feel like the usual sterile, cold dental office—it feels warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. I felt a sense of comfort that I hadn’t experienced in any dental setting before. His staff is just as amazing. Every single person I encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely caring. They greeted me with a smile, explained everything thoroughly, and never once made me feel rushed or like a burden. You can tell that Dr. Ben has built a team that values kindness, compassion, and excellent service. And then there’s Dr. Ben himself—truly one of a kind. He is one of the most patient, understanding, and gentle healthcare professionals I’ve ever met. I came to him after some really awful dental experiences in the past—offices that pushed unnecessary procedures, didn’t listen to me, and even did work I later found out I didn’t need. So I was naturally nervous, and even a little distrustful. But Dr. Ben completely changed that for me. I came to him with a failed crown that had been done by a previous dentist. It had caused me nothing but pain and problems, and I was terrified to go through the process again. Dr. Ben listened to my concerns without judgment, thoroughly examined the situation, and took the time to explain exactly what had gone wrong and what he would do to fix it. He was so calm and reassuring—I immediately felt like I was in good hands. And sure enough, the procedure went beautifully. He redid the crown with such care and precision, and I was barely in any pain at all—during or after. It was honestly the most comfortable dental procedure I’ve ever had. The difference between this experience and my past ones was night and day. Dr. Ben made sure I was okay every step of the way, and I never once felt rushed or dismissed. He’s a true professional with an incredibly kind heart. If you’ve ever had a traumatic or negative dental experience, please believe me when I say: Dr. Ben is the dentist you’ve been searching for. He will change the way you feel about going to the dentist. He listens. He cares. He’s patient, thorough, honest, and incredibly skilled. For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to my dental appointments—and I never thought I’d say that. Thank you, Dr. Ben, for fixing my crown, for making me feel safe, and for restoring my confidence in dental care. I’m beyond grateful.

Everyone was very knowledgeable,.professional, friendly and my son referred me to them. But why I really stayed is because the Dr Ben Pourmorady and his hygenist Audrey are very gentle on my teeth. They don't recommend services that aren't needed. I show up every 6 months for a cleaning. It's so important that my teeth are beautiful, when I smile. I smile with confidence. I'm new to LA for the last 3 years and let me tell you, the first thing people notice are your teeth when you smile. So all you single people out there, a beautiful smile goes a long way!!!! P.S. In San Diego I had braces because my doctor told me it was cause problems in my older years. So he recommended someone, and I chose another dr because the Dr i chose was half the price, you get what you pay for, because they left me with a gap on the lower part of my jaw. Just sayin! I'll post a picture. Anyways I have some beautiful girlfriends that were single, and I noticed they should have braces, so I kindly said to them, you are so beautiful buy it would be the icing on the cake if you had braces. And so they did!!! They smile with confidence now ā˜ŗļø by the way, my son is having his Invisalign services with doctor Ben, his teeth are looking beautiful!!!! And the view of LA is amazing from his office!!!!

Not sure how they got so many 5 stars but if you are considering this dentistry, be aware of the unprofessional staff and overpriced services.

During the first visit the nurse/assistant left my station in the middle of the cleaning, and I have to work with the dentist to hold the saliva ejector all by myself through the rest.

They charge 3 times over the area market average for basic filling, and as soon as I realized the price didn't look right, the front desk started to try to confuse me by talking a lot about different filling materials and emphasize how much they care about patient so they don't do amalgam and thus you have to pay extra to have composite filling (which in fact is just a common dental standard since the amalgam has been out of market for decades).
