Weingart Center — Hotel in Los Angeles

Been here 1 1/2 I see people come and go! Why? Well many think the Weingart is supposed to do it all for you. Those who. Ima I r are the lazy ones. The different programs they offer are for those in need of shelter they also have group meetings. Which many refuse to attend. They want free shelter food etc do t want to do anything at all. Treat it like a hotel. People arent allowed food or cooking in rooms, not everyone cleans ! Roaches will come and then they’ll have something we to complInt about! They have. Café if u so t like the food get your own! Many if not all get SNAP! Stop whining really. You’re are not forced to stay here! They do so much for people but not all will be thankful! Bathrooms & showers are outside of rooms. They clean them everyday 2x a day. But some live like pigs then complaint Your momma aint there clean after yourself! Yes some have mental health issues but they offer mental health, substance abuse treatment and medical. Many of not all have GR & SNAP benefits but exchange for other things. Shoes clothes nice cars and still want free housing & food! Free bills. Many just don’t want to work to pay rent so they go back and act poor, homeless and complaint about everything! No matter what anyone does they don’t want to work ! Why should they ? Some of us do we transition through here na se at hour to stable housing and jobs ! Many don’t ! So when reading complaints think of them as ingrates who no matter what anyone does for them They will...

Weingart Center runs multiple facilities such as Hilda Solis First Care Village Interim Housing, The Grand Hotel downtown, and The Beacon (formerly Solaire Hotel). The issue is that they hire really bad individuals and turn a blind eye as to what happens at these facilities. At Hilda Solis First Care Village, there are multiple security guards saying the n-word, white clients physically threatening black clients, and case workers who will not let white residents know that you cannot make physical threats against minorities and subsequently remain on the premises. A white client can make threats towards a black client in front of three security guards and have absolutely no consequences. A white client can repeatedly on different days harass a black client and the security guards typically just watch. There is a difference between horrible management and unsafe conditions for people of color and the sites that Weingart oversees have both. At a certain point Weingart is responsible for these facilities and if the management on-site cannot do their job and do not find it a priority to have safe conditions for their residents, then Weingart needs to fix the instances that are going on and also the structure at these sites that allows these things to happen. It looks like Weingart tried to find the worst individuals in the United States, and subsequently put them at Hilda Solis First...

AVOID THIS PLACE ON SCHRAEDER AND HOLLYWOOD BLVD LIKE THE PLAGUE. RICARDO WILL ABUSE WOMEN AND HE CALLED A MALE SECURITY GUARD TO LAY HIS HANDS ON ME. WOMEN ARE AT RISK OF ASSAULT AND HARRASSMENT HERE. AND SEXUAL HARRASSMENT OF LGBTQIA IS COVERED UP TOO. THEYVE HAD MEN AND WOMEN WAIT 3-4 YEARS FOR HOUSING IN THIS PROGRAM. THEY WILL NOT HELP HOMELESS PEOPLE. THEY JUST GIVE YOU A BED TO SLEEP ON SHOWERS AND CLEAN CLOTHES. OTHER THAN THAT THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU YOUR HEALTH OR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH LET ALONE THEY WILL REFUSE TO PUT YOU INTO MORE LONGTERM HOUSING. THIS FACILITY IS FULL OF JUNKIES LEECHING OFF THE GOVERNMENT WHICH IS HOW THEY MAKE MONEY. YOU WONT EVER GET INTO AY BETTER HOUSING SITUATIONS SO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I WASTED MINE HOPING FOR THEM TO DO SOMETHING HELPFUL FOR ME.
