San Julian Park — Attraction in Los Angeles

Health fair St Julien park is there to help the people that lives on skid row and has nowhere else to go they have the Wesley clinic coming there to volunteer and help people with eyeglasses and teeth if you need a dentist please go to the Wesley clinic on 5th and San Pedro it helps you with all kind of health problems you don't have to feel alone are you don't have to have money they will help you free that's what they're for downtown is a place for compassion even though it's called Skid Row that's the name of the community and people live there to help one another people need help so if you can donate food clothes with ever even your time give compassionate to the people that are less than fortunate open your heart and be compassionate to people that are in need thank you very much for letting me...

Actually most people who are unhoused are fair and decent people who will not harm you in the park. They're safe to be around & its generally okay in San Julian Park. However it is skid row and there needs to be a warning that you know you do need to be careful and be aware of your surroundings, but you know I'm not saying don't go down there. I'm saying I do go down there all the time I was just in San Julian Park yesterday... the photos are of a Thursday noon food giveaway and a kind of introductory visit, usually with some survey taking to learn about food attitudes and opinions in San Julian park by LACAN with me & other volunteers.... this is also to thank the volunteers for all their help, they've been wonderful especially...

This isn't so much a park as it is a place to score, saying that; don't plan on scoring points with anyone in this place past the dealers selling you crack or crackheads bumming your last cigarette. If those are the kind of points for you then plan on scoring and understand that it'll cost you, nothing past the smell of urine and four day old unshowered men if the street comes free. Dont be alarmed when you get approached two steps in and told their special's of the day by most likely a gang member with a smile and a quota, until the deal is done he's your new best friend. Think of him like the Walmart greeters but with a little more clout, half the age and proficient...
