We stayed here for over a week. It felt like a month. Walking in and seeing everything it all looks perfectly great and just splendid. Then we go to the staff desk to check in and it wasn't as splendid. The staff was professional but there seemed to not be any exceptional customer service. An older man just stares and speaks. No warmth. I encountered a couple different woman at the desk and one was nicest. Another was displaying her annoyed emotions on her face. I laughed because who does that? It was just awkward. My husband told me he had an unpleasant experience with someone at the front. He said she had an attitude and just plain rude when he asked about needing a printer. He just inquired about it. Loveland is a beautiful name but really did not feel any love or happiness there. Maybe my expectations are too high.
On a brand new note. The cleanliness could be a tad better. When we got in our room our three boys like the sleeper sofas and I went to pull it out. There was a big spill of an entire lemon pepper inside the sofa. I called the front desk and a staff member came up and wow she was just the nicest!!!! She had one housekeeper with her and she was sweet too, quiet just doing her job. The staff member maybe a leader of some sorts was just nice and she exuded warmth! She was friendly. That is great customer service. She took of the issue and handled it all perfect. That's the best experience I got was from the mess in my room. Also the cleaning service was extremely nice and helpful to me during my star. I gave 4stars for service because that woman! The housekeepers really need to do better as a whole though. I hate pointing little things out but I can't help noticing all the small dirty things. Behind our bed was smashed crumbs and popcorn. So it just seems the cleaning service isn't getting every Nook and cranny. The only reason I noticed that behind the bed because I was looking for outlets to plug my phone because there are no outlets easily accessible, except behind the bed side table where the phone, clock and lamp are plugged. So when I noticed the old crumbs and popcorn i just ignored it. But the little things count too. I LOVE that Starbucks is there during early days. I wish hot water and coffee/tea was available 247 like other hotels offer. But I understand. Can't have everything. And the pool was great ofcourse for the boys!! That's My review. Unfortunately I do not recommend this hotel because of the hospitality issue me and...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to spend our 26th anniversary at the embassy. These are just some comments and observations from spending quite a few nights in the past. The room was very clean and comfortable along with hosting a car show being held at The Ranch I could walk around the parking lot and see many of the cars without the price of entry to the show. The keyed access to the elevator I thought was odd and inconvenient and many other guests concur. When I asked the front desk person who for some reason was wearing an inconsequential surgical mask (I am not sure which virtue she was signaling) she stated that it was for security reasons and the company was considering adding keyed access to ALL the entries to the building and assured me that this was the case in other Embassies. I just stayed at the Embassy in Amarillo and can assure you this isn’t the case. We had a drink from the bar the prices there were reasonable and bartenders were friendly and I tip well in cash so these people don’t have to report this in taxes. The parking fee and jump in price from about $189 a night just a few years ago to $300 a night was not surprising I suppose given the way things are in Colorado now but doing a cost benefit analysis I can say that there is a point that expenditure of money is not worth the return. I used the pool a couple of times and was disappointed that the hot tub had been removed. I know they’re gross and filthy but I have been blessed with the constitution of a vending machine so I don’t care.I wouldn’t dare ask why, probably for security reasons. The breakfast was good as usual but I wouldn’t continue to call it free or complimentary with what I paid for a nights stay. Still decided to tip the housekeeping folks (again in cash) due to the hard work and thanklessness of that job. In the future I’m not sure I’ll stay there again and I understand how you pass on the rising cost of everything to your customers I may have to take my “Silver “ status business (enter sarcasm ) and have a staycation. I honestly don’t know what silver status even...
Read moreA two-night stay turned into four as we enjoyed our experience that much. We spent time in both Boulder and Fort Collins while staying here. It's only 15 minutes to CSU campus and downtown Fort Collins. As per the hotel, the breakfast was fantastic! A special shout out to Joy & Brandon for exceptional customer service and culinary skills. You could order pancakes (buttermilk, chocolate chip, butterscotch), bacon and sausage, eggs or egg whites, omelettes (with all kinds of ingredients such as sausage, spinach, peppers, tomato, mushroom, jalapeno, etc.)... there was all kinds of action back there. They also had a breakfast bar with waffles or french toast, fruit, hash browns, cereal, etc. There was a cooler with 2% or skim milk and even Silk Protein milk (loved it). There were also machines with juice, soda, etc. The daily social hour from 5:30-7 was also a huge plus, especially since you weren't limited to two drinks. We were able to enjoy a little wine (red or white), beer (a local craft seasonal or light beer), and mixed beverages. The bartenders were friendly and, like the chefs, seemed to enjoy their time behind the bar. Shout-out to David who was good to us. Another plus: whenever we needed an assist from customer service we left a message and someone showed up to remedy our situation. We requested that someone tidy up our room each day while we were gone and it was done. The pool area was clean and we genuinely enjoyed the fitness room, as well: multiple treadmills, a universal machine, and also a plentiful amount of hand weights and a couple of incline benches. Basically, it was all good! Also plentiful parking and maybe most importantly: an exceptionally clean hotel and glorious atrium. This is a SOLID Embassy Suites... overall the best I have stayed in all things considered. Final note: Loveland is far cooler than I anticipated. We thoroughly enjoyed our time downtown on the final night and wish we had spent more...
