I'm in a wheelchair and booked the roll in shower room in advance because i NEED that room. Needless to say they messed up the reservation and we traveled from Michigan. On top of that, finding a roll in shower room that fits my needs last minute is difficult and we had to compromise taking the tub room. The hotel bought a shower chair to try and make up for it but still isn't effective for a 3-month stay! We ended up staying here because we were stuck financially. Since weve been here, They messed up with billing, remade the bed with dirty sheets, skipped out on housekeeping entirely, attitude from the front desk when they were at fault(we've been kind and patient). Even reached out to the owner with no response back. They even raised the rate for our last month after they said the opposite. This place is just about their bottom dollar, don't spend money here. This review barely scrapes the surface of the issues we dealt with. Management tried to tell me what I need for my disability, or too bad find another room.

Read moreI had a reservation in the summer of 2023. The management decided to allow their hotel to be overbooked (okay, it happens), then told us they would try to help us find other accomodations in the area. After several phone calls, this was not possible. Then magically, seemingly out of nowhere, the hotel DID have a room available, but for a higher price. Apparently, attempting to price gouge customers is the way this business, does business. Good luck with that. I will never stay at a My Place, ever. They lost a customer for life (and potentially hundreds or thousands of future customers--if you are reading this, buyer beware).
If you are coming at a non-busy time of year, maybe your experience at this hotel will be positive. But if unethical business practices bother you (even if they don't happen to affect you directly, but could), this probably isn't a good choice for you.
A couple months back the hotel called me back to discuss, and I indicated it would be great to speak with the manager. The manager never called. The one-star review...
Read moreWe recently stayed here during a local special event. Most of the times it was quiet. Noise from I-25 is minimal though occasionally we could hear music coming from another room. The staff is super professional and friendly. Tina especially was super friendly and professional. When we told her we’d like hot coffee at 4 am, she made sure we had it! Jenna was also super nice and professional and so was the cleaning crew we met. We didn’t try their “Breakfast in Bed”because it honestly didn’t sound very appetizing, plus they charge extra to deliver the frozen foods for it the day before you want it. Instead we cooked some meals in the room. Beware too. They charge $20 for a set of dishes and basic cooking utensils. Otherwise, the room was clean and mostly in good condition. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. One other thing… there’s no breakfast restaurants nearby. You’ll have to drive southwest or drive up to Windsor to find a...
