I was a vendor at the Timber Dan's Toy Show being held at the Ranch Events Complex. The Timber Dan's Toy Show was awesome and well put on by the Lions Club of Loveland. The employees running the parking of The Ranch Events Complex is an entirely different story, they are rude and horrible people that make it impossible to leave the event because they want to direct people in for another future event but make no plans for the people leaving the current event. I was told they didn't care if we were leaving that they had a bunch of cars coming in that needed to park. They made us and everyone else who was trying to leave the event drive way back into the Complex and try to find somewhere to turn around and them make us wait while they let car after car come in before letting us drive down the road and then forced us into some back roads which again do not take you to a main road to leave. It added an extra 22 minutes for us to leave the event Complex when they could have halted traffic on the far south road, moved three cones and one very fat security guard, and let us directly on to the road that would empty out onto Crossroads Blvd. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PARKING LOT PERSONAL THEY NEED MORE EXPERT TRAINING IN PARKING LOT...
Read moreThe Ranch refuses to be accessible, specifically the Thomas McKee 4-H Building (through no fault of 4-H) although I have observed it in other buildings on site as well, and have observed it since this facility opened two decades ago. Mechanically operated doors, also known as the handicap accessible doors, are never unlocked allowing the doors to open when the push button is used. This prevents easy access for people with mobility aids such as wheelchair, canes, walkers, crutches, etc. it prevents easy access for anyone with a stroller, anyone carrying anything into the building, or anyone who attempts to simply push the button to open the doors. This is also a violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act. The Ranch either needs to change their procedures on opening and closing buildings, train their staff more adequately on how to unlock these doors, or they risk...
Read moreWent to see Alive Cooper and last night Judas Priest and one thing I noticed was just how stupid the location to buy Tee Shirts. Hard rock/Metal shows always have fans buying newer Tee Shirts yet they put the booth to sell them in the wrong location which blocks off the concession stands due to very very long lines. Its so stupid to see this when the shirts could be sold on the other side of the stadium were concession are not sold. In the old school days they would have several locations to buy T shirts so why the change? I will not get into the amazing ripoff for the food and drink. 6 bucks for a dollar of popcorn, 10 dollar beers...never again. The shows were great but the lack of respect for...
