Our first HUGE disappointment was that the elevator was out of service for our whole stay. When we arrived Friday, we were told it would be out until Monday, When Monday came around we were told the elevator would not be in service during our stay. This was an inconvenience because we had to carry our luggage both up and down 3 flights of stairs.

The second issue was the construction that was happening at the hotel. We understand that construction needs to happen to keep things looking nice. We were told upon arrival that the construction crew begins at 8 in the morning (one front desk attendant told us 9AM). Unfortunately, at 7 in the morning the construction noise began and woke us up. We addressed the issue with the front desk and was told they clock in at 7, and the hotel has no control over when they start making noise. Another problem with the construction was that a wooden dolly was left at the top two steps (wheels down) on the 3rd floor. This is a Major safety issue, if someone wasn't paying attention it could have caused a huge accident.

We stayed in a recently updated room and found a couple of issues. The tile on the bathroom had grout and paint all over it, this gives an appearance of dirt and grime on the tile floor. The shower head was way too high for a short person to reach and adjust. There was a coat hook missing off the wall. The road noise was very loud for passing vehicles.

I was told by the front desk that all they could do for these inconveniences was give me 5000 points and if I felt that those points was not enough, I had to contact the GM of the hotel and call...

For some back ground i have been a IHG member for over 14 years, This visit was one of the worst stays i have in many years. The internet would not work and this was a work trip where i had to use Data to transfer large fiels and it pushed me over my allowable limit of data whcih slowed my cell data usage. I called down to the office and was told that i would have to go out in the hallway to get better coverage which i did and it worked out there but as soon as i went back in the room to the offcie table it would not work again. when i looked at the bed i noticed a "blood spot" on the pillow case, As i was right next to the laundry room i broughr it to the staff and they replaced the pillow but the issue that it was not found when they cleaned the room was worriesome. I brought this to the attendtion of the front desk and they deposited 2000 points into my account , which was a joke to be honest. when i was checking out the girl at the front desk was preoccupied with her phone as i approcahed the counter. I asked for a copy of my invoice and she said her system was down. it just seemed to be a continued failure, In my online profile it clearly states a top floor room if possible along with not being close to an elevator but they thought 1st floor next to noisy washing machines and dryers would be acceptable. As a diamond elite member i asked for an upgrade if available and what i got was far from an upgrade and more of a down grade. I reccomend not staying at this property if you can avoid it. The cost of the room is way out of wack compared to what you get...

I cannot express the gratitude that I have for this Holiday Inn and its staff.

We had a group of 22 who were traveling to Colorado for a mission trip and my husband and I arrived a day early to make sure all was in order.

We had made reservations at another hotel and upon arrival was completely disgusted and shocked at the state of the rooms and grounds. It was unsafe, unhygienic and overwhelmingly distressing. We did not even sit on the furniture before letting the front desk know we would not be staying there and asking for a refund.

I began calling every hotel within a 30 mile radius hoping to find a place with 8 rooms available. When I spoke with Carmen at Holiday Inn Loveland she could sense my panic and went above and beyond to help me find a hotel that could help us. She even suggested and gave me phone numbers of other hotels out of the Holiday Inn chain. She was amazing. It worked out that she was able to work a miracle and get all 22 of us into the Holiday Inn Loveland. She went above and beyond what she was required to and spent almost 40 minutes on the phone with me to make sure my group was taken care of.

Upon arrival we were greeted happily, they even allowed us to see a room to show us that they were up to what we needed.

The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was delicious, staff was helpful and professional, room cleanings were detailed and efficient. I have zero complaints.

Carmen and Holiday Inn Loveland is a big part of why our trip to Colorado was successful. You will not be disappointed if you choose...

Rooms were clean and sensible. Good storage options. Ours was a two queen bed and pull out couch room. I was very happy to have a mini fridge and a microwave. The pool was positively great! There aren't many hotel locations that have a water slide! However, the hot tub was very lackluster. I've been in pools warmer than that. Sadly, the hot tub was that cool/tepid both days we were there. Location is great and easily accessible to the freeway and local shops. I was disappointed with the lack of dedicated, separately packaged, gluten-free options for the little store area as well as with the continental breakfast. Also ended up with rotten milk even though it hadn't reached the expiration date yet.

Wow, something is wrong with this locations Managment! The rear door slammed constantly shaking my entire room. It was room 235, a disabled access room. I did not ask for this room and it should not be rented unless you are def. The shower would not stay and would slide down and spray everywhere. I borrowed scotch tape from the front to secure it and put a sign on the rear door to not slam it. I’ve called 3 times to ask for a manager and there is never one there. Must suck to be an employee with not help/supervision. If I could give zero stars I would. The only good thing was the breakfast and the nice lady that took care of it! 5 stars to her…. Negative 5 to the rest of the hotel.

**UPDATED STAY** We’re back! I actually have to give another review. The front desk employee John. He was extremely friendly, went out of his way to get the things that i needed. We ordered pizza and had been at the pool upon their arrival. When I left the pool, I seen john trying to make contact with our room as I was walking up. He didn’t have to. I gave dominoes the room number. I call that doing a good job for the guests. The room was once again very clean and smelled good. This time the pool was really warm too. Money well spent! I always enjoy coming here and staying. The rooms are EXTREMELY clean and the breakfast is excellent. The staff is friendly. We enjoy staying here
