I have enjoyed and preferred the Human Bean for a number years over other local and corporate coffee shops. Some recent incidents have made me change my mind. Purchased a chicken sandwich meal for lunch. The sandwich was frozen which meant that I quickly had to find something to eat for lunch and saved the sandwich but, when it did thaw out it was a soggy mess. Why offer a “lunch meal” if the sandwich’s are frozen? The drinks are not consistent. Sometimes I get an amazing drink and a day later it can truly be terrible. Last weekend I was waiting in line when another patron literally pulled out of line and then in front of me. I walked to the window because it was just frustrating to be waiting for 15 minutes and be cut-off. I explained what happened at the window and was totally brushed off. To add insult to injury jury, my husband was waiting for me in line and a snarky worker came out and told him to move. Customer service and consistency just don’t exist. I am not likely to go out of my way to come...
Read moreI used to love Human Bean but over time switch to Dutch Bro due to the drinks I enjoy. Well today I was close to this Human Bean and was like I will give them a try again. Well I had some issues with their customer service. When I arrived I was third in line and within a few minutes was 2nd in line. Well when that happened a lady came out and took the order of the truck behind me. I was like ok guess she made a mistake and missed me. I was ok with that. But 5 mins go by and I'm still 2nd in line and the lady comes out and gives the order to the truck behind and takes payment. She then looks at my car for a few seconds and decided I wasn't worth getting my order taken apparently and takes the order of the car that was behind the truck. I waited another few minutes before I finally made it to the window and ordered. Well I got my drink at the same time that 2nd car got theirs. This is why I appreciate Dutch Bros even more. They know car management...
Read moreSuper friendly staff, never had issues ordering, nor with the food or drinks. Much prefer this place over Starbucks or Ziggies.
But holy cow the owners have lost their mind with the pricing. Over $17 for a 20oz Snow w/ a breakfast burrito?!??! Wth are they thinking? I can go to like Urban Egg or Pancake House sit down, be served and have coffee & a full meal for that price.
HB has always been a bit pricier but this is fricking ridiculous. On top of the eye watering price for coffee & essentially a microwaved burrito they've covered up the bulk of their prices on the menu boards. I understand this is all likely Tarrif driven but don't insult our intelligence by hiding prices. Guess I'll be sticking to my Nespresso here at home until prices come back...
