The campsites were close together but had trees for privacy. There is not a lot of room for a tent. There was a small amount of trash in our site when we arrived. The bear box was dirty with ash and had to be swept out before we could use it.

The fire pit is very shallow and needs to be cleaned out. It looks like it has never been cleaned out.

The bathrooms are moderately clean. There is no direct access to the lake.

You have to go around through either marina. There is one on each side of the campground. There is a trail but has not been maintained and is overrun with brush.

The fishing here is incredible. If you are here to fish, this is a nice campground. The marina next door has sinks to clean your fish. They also have showers. This was the best feature, and it is not associated with the campground.

There are a lot of mosquitoes,...

Beautiful lake with it's beach side. So much to do in the surrounding area with the town. The views from the beach is so aweome for photography which is the main reason i went there. Beach area was bit more crowded on a saturday but that's to be expected. Highly recommend bug spray when visiting these areas as the mosquitos are everywhere.

Make sure you drive around to the top view point. It's a little hidden area easy to miss. It has this dirt road that goes around. Epic for drone footage which we enjoyed. The greenish color of the lake looks so pretty. I must come back during...

The site is gorgeous and we'll maintained. But the staff was the absolute worst - rude, imperious, and the very definition of bureaucrats creating problems rather than solving them. We had a mixup with our reservation for two days, and so had to reserve two sites over two days. The staff was aggressively hostile to any attempt to solve the problem, even when opportunities we're available, blaming their coputer system and complaining they were powerless. Next time I'll chose a more rustic site with camp hosts who are empowered and willing to solve problems rather than...

Some of the sites are a little larger, but we fit our 3 room tent on one of the smaller sites. All the sites have picnic tables, large lockable bear proof food lockers, and fire pits (I think with grills too!). No showers, but the toilets are flushable, and the bathrooms are clean (considering all the dirt, rocks and sticks) and TP was restocked fairly quick. Town, Marina / boat rentals are all within walking distance. We will stay here again, and recommend to family and friends!
