Mattress Firm South Willow Street — Hotel in Manchester

Quarantine had me redoing my room. I decided it was time for a new and bigger mattress. Having never bought a mattress myself, Drew was very helpful and informative about what would best suit me.

EDIT: I went into Mattress Firm to test out beds - a pleasant experience, but I was fooled by first impressions. I did find a great bed for me, a Nectar mattress, but the hassle to get all the parts for the bed was just mind blowing. I wasn't expecting to get the mattress, box spring, and frame the day I went into the store. I was told it would ALL be ready by that Friday (about 3 days from when I went into the store and made the order). I did NOT receive all of my products on Friday. I got the frame, which was broken, and the mattress (with a spill protector sheet). The box spring was not ordered to match the size of the mattress. Long story short, I went to THREE different Mattress Firms in THREE different towns and cities to get all of my products. After the weekend (of not using my new mattress in fear that if I rested it on the floor the return policy would be revoked... because the box spring was the wrong size), I had to pick up the right box spring at another location that I had not already been to. Waiting for mattress accessories is not what people want to be doing with their lives, especially when you are promised EVERYTHING to be delivered on a specific day but were not. The mattress is very comfortable (although it does not seem to be at the full height it should be as it was in a box), but I would not waste my time coming back to...

Needed a pillow due to my neck surgeries. The store must have more than 30+ pillows to try!

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin. He made sure I didn't rush and that I didn't make any decisions before all the pillows he pulled for me were tried. I found the one and I am so excited that in a couple of days (mailed directly from Tempurpedic), I will have a comfortable night's sleep again!

Go see Kevin at this location (952 S. Willow). The store is in the Chipotle plaza across from the TJ Maxx plaza. It is not the one across from the mall near Jared's.

Update:

The $200 Tempur-Pedic pillow was not a good fit for me. I was waking up throughout the night with neck pain because the pillow was too "high" for me. I returned to the store and was surprised to hear that it was a final sale. I was very upset as Kevin did not tell me this. I know I sound ignorant but I honestly didn't think about returning it and Kevin didn't tell me that it was a final sale item. Honestly, if he had, I would definitely not have purchased it, especially for $200!

The manager of the store, who was extremely helpful and nice, helped me pick out a better pillow for me. I ended up giving my ridiculously expensive pillow to my dad.

My partner and I have been in the market for a new mattress for a little while now. Just like with cars, phones, etc, shopping isn't easy with sales reps that are like hawks that won't leave you alone and pressure you into a certain brand or model because they get a bonus or incentive to push for that particular model for the month. Our sales rep, very knowledgeable, very laid back, showed both of us the options we described to him in detail, and hit the nail right on the head with our new Temper-Pedic. Not because we were looking for anything extravagant, but because he listed to what we were trying to convey for comfort. He gave us a wide range of different mattresses with all sorts of pricing options, but price wasn't the key factor in our decision. He went over all the options in full detail which included warranty, warranty concerns, return options, just everything we needed to know with no pressure. Can't explain how satisfied we are with our purchase, and can't wait to get a restful night sleep.
