Cute place, a lot of pink, which is totally fine for me!
We go here for mainly for the mochi balls & Vietnamese coffee. This review is my overall experience after several visits where we have sat & eaten there or grabbed something to go.
Very decorative, I look forward to see how they decorate for the holidays & different seasons. Inviting atmosphere with, spacious, & calming to the eye.
Food & drink wise, yes. We love their mochi balls, cookies & cream and coffee are our favorites. They aren't bite sized, not a complaint, more like a compliment & they are generous with the filling. The donuts are good too, we just happen to like the mochi balls better. A good variety overall. Vietnamese coffee, always a win! The drinks come in cute little soda like pop tops!
I docked a star just for a few reasons. Like I said we love their mochi balls but sometimes they are out, don't have the flavors we want, etc. Which could be a good sign that they are popular but we've been through various times of the days & were sad to not always have the chance to get what we came in for. Maybe a little TLC on house keeping, our tables had (on more than one occasion) we're a bit dirty with crumbs... maybe we are just coming in after the last person leaves & no time to wipe down before others get there? And this last time both of our drinks that were given to us were sticky on the outside.
The staff is nice, we never have an issue with service. Great staff, good food, everytime. Aside from the few things mentioned, we will still stop by on occasion! Glad to have them here...
Read moreMe and my sister have been dying to go to Mochinut. When we got there, the customer service was great and the atmosphere was good. The place is completely pink and white, which gives it a girly fill.
We end up buying a hazelnut boba, potato, and hot cheetos corn dog with mozzarella inside. The potato corn dog was good but needed more flavor. The hot cheetos corn dog tasted way better, and it had a little spicy to it. The boba was a little watered-down and didn't get much of the hazelnut flavor that I was looking for in the drink.
For dessert, we got 3 Mochi donuts for $9, which I feel is expensive, but im a college student, so maybe not for everyone eles. The churro mochi dounut is my favorite and had just the right amount of sweetness. The funnel cake and original were also good and not too sweet for those out there who don't like things that are too sweet.
I would like to come back and try different mochinut donuts flavors along with the...
Read moreSo I didn’t get to take a picture of the donuts, since we devoured them and well, that’s not a pretty picture haha. Anywho. We tasted six of their donuts. First was the churro, which is my boyfriend’s favorite. It was ok to me. The next one was strawberry and well, it was good, but the frosting could’ve been better. The Oreo and pistachio were my favorites, but my boyfriend didn’t like the pistachio. The taro was yummy too and he enjoyed the coconut flakes, which was a good touch. The raspberry pop tart, I believe it was called, was also pretty good. Overall, from the chewiness of the donuts and for most of the flavors, they were good mochi donuts. Definitely...
