They have forgotten The fact that it is the customer that keeps them in business. I'm seeing a very consistent theme here, and that is their drive-thru to follow through is horrible. And the funny thing is it's a franchise location so you would think the owner would be concerned about how the customers are treated seeing as though he or she invested in this franchise. This is the third day in a row I've gotten bad fish from them but I've given them more than one chance to correct it the first day I asked for fresh fish they said it would be when I received it you could tell it was old fish that was just dropped again and Grease. When I called the manager on duty out on it he said you got me we did drop it to try to make it hot for you but that is not the best way to do it. He did offer me a drink while I wait another 15 minutes in total I ended up being there for 30 minutes when it was supposed to be a fast encounter because it is fast food. Received The replacement it was good but not as good as normal. I left came back the next day tried it again as for fresh fish they gave me this fish that was so hard you could barely break it in half. It was really hard. After waiting 10 minutes in drive-thru. Got the fish drove back around told them the fish was hard she apologized asked me if I would pull up while they remake it told me it would take 7 minutes well it took 13 minutes when the gentleman came out he didn't even offer any apology or a drink or anything for the inconvenience. I got home the fish looked fine but then I tasted the fish it had no flavor it tasted like cardboard so I called. The young lady was so kind she was the manager on duty and she said don't worry about bringing the fish with you this time because you've already been extremely inconvenience if you want to try to season it and make it better since we're about to close. Just bring your receipt tomorrow and will remake it fresh and even throw some extras in there for the inconvenience. On my way home from the airport I called I got the district manager I didn't believe it was him because prior to him telling me his position he was basically telling me that I was just trying to get over on them and they can't just give away the house no matter what the previous manager had told me he was not going to honor that I told him he didn't have to worry about honoring it because if he is a representation of what that franchise owner wants I don't want any parts of Chicken Express and I will tell several thousand members in my business to not go to that location. Read moreAt 6:35 PM on June 22, 2020 I visited the Chicken Express in Mansfield, TX on Broad St. We are in the midst of a pandemic and for some reason chicken express believes the only employees who need to wear masks and gloves are the individuals working the cash register at the drive thru window.
I called to ask them about their safety policy & procedures as I sat in the line at the drive thru and I could clearly see employees walking around talking to one another and preparing food without a mask or gloves on. I was told by the person who answered the phone that the people packing the food didn’t wear gloves because they use tongs and their hands never touch the food. REALLY? And I guess they don’t wear masks because even though they are talking and breathing over the food there is no chance of their saliva getting on the food either.
But their bare hands are touching the containers we bring our food home in.
The lack of care given to customer service and food handling is appalling. And the surrounding restaurants nearby have much stricter procedures in place to ensure every customer’s food is handled with the utmost care and precaution. Chicken Express has done nothing more to protect their customers during this pandemic. Our food has zero protection but I guess our credit card is safer when we pay the cashier since that’s the only person wearing a mask and gloves.

Read moreI sat in drive-through for 10 minutes. Got to the window paid for my order waited an additional 10 minutes. Finally someone came to the window and charged me for my order and I just sat there. Then another person walked up to the window and said what do you want? I said I’m waiting on my order. They ran around looking and blaming each other and finally a female comes back and tells me, “sir we gave your order to the car behind you, if you want it still you’ll have to wait fifteen minutes and l can give you a free tea for waiting”. I told her no problem. Can you pull forward she ask. I sat there patiently for nineteen minutes watching other customers (8 cars pull up and leave) and no one acknowledged me. Finally, after waiting for twenty five minutes total l had had enough. I knocked on the door and a young man came to the door and again for the second time l was ask “what do you want?” What happened to how can I help you? He went inside and another employee came out. We talked about what happened and all was going well until she said to me “it is not my fault the employee gave your food away”. And l said like wise. I asked who are you. She said l am the manager.
