What can wrap up my experience is disappointment. We made a last minute reservation (2 hours+) prior to arriving on site with my family (wife and two kids). We arrived at 10PM to a room that had not been serviced. We called the front desk and they offered to move us to another room. That room was also not serviced. We asked for the room to be cleaned. Understand that maybe the staff is short or mishaps happen. The manager was reiterating that the rooms being dirty was not their fault, which was understood. The manager mentioned to us that they would clean our room if we would not leave a bad review. To be honest we were not thinking of leaving reviews at all, we were expecting the staff to help work with us such as replacing the sheets. Since it was late, getting to bed was a priority. They started cleaning the room we were moved into. Soon afterwards the manager told us that we could not stay there and we would need to leave the premises. When asked why, the response was that the room would not meet our standards of cleanliness. I've included photos of the state the rooms were in when we arrived. You could be the judge yourself if you're expectations would be aligned with ours. It would be noted we would have waited for the room to be cleaned. We would have asked for some comps for the inconvenience. Frankly we did ask for a comp, but they said there was nothing they could do. Maybe it was because we booked through third party? We offered to book direct again if that would help, but that suggestion was rejected. When asked what alternatives we would have, the manager said it was not their problem. It was a really odd exchange. The general staff were apologetic and tried calling around to help us find other means of stay --- all of which was against the recommendation of the working manager. It should be noted the way we did not raise our voice, we were communicating in a neutral tone. It seemed from what the general staff implied was that we were not receiving help because the manager thought we were going to leave a bad review anyways so it wasn't worth the effort to help us. Which was a shame since we were looking for help and resolutions. In a way this bad review was self manifested. We worked with Expedia to get a refund and the hotel management gives us their "Apologies". It honestly felt like a slap in the face, but it is what it is. People have bad days and I guess we showed up to one.

Had to make a last minute reservation, hotel said it had been remodeled. Some parts were definitely nicer than others. Breakfast area was nice. Fresh food was warm, like it should be. The gal that checked us in was super! She was very helpful and got me extra pillows the 2nd night (they were so squishy, it was hard to sleep with them the first night). I felt like she was working very hard with not much help. We enjoyed the hot tub for some relaxation before bed. The water temperature and room temp were hot. Like sweating just sitting there. Was thankful they end pool hours for kids 2 hours prior to adults. Fresh paint in the hall, not sure why they picked bright yellow accents when the rest is so calming. Has an elevator, has adequate parking. Great restaurant with lounge next door. Fountain feature was having an issue. Liked all the snack and drink choices in the lobby! Really convenient.

In the photo the hotel looks much better than in reality. The toilet seat is worn to holes. The walls in the hallway are shabby. The room is cramped. At 9pm I received a call from the reception and they said that the neighbors downstairs were complaining that my children were walking too loudly. At 9 pm!!! Wi fi did not work only on iPhones. When registering, the manager knew about this but did not say! When I called and told her about this, she said that she had been trying to solve this problem all day!!! I was very sad and disgusted that I could not get my money back and leave this terrible hotel. The only thing that was good about this hotel was the breakfast! It was really hearty and tasty. PS my experience with cheaper hotels like Motel 6 was much better!

If I could give negative one hundred stars I would! Avoid at all costs. I’m currently suffering chest pain, asthma exacerbation, headache, nausea and dizziness because some yahoos snuck in (probably from the drug addict park next to it) and huffed some spray paint. It filled the entire hallway and my unsealed hotel room door with fumes. When I called to let them know they blew me off, didn’t believe me and then tried to gaslight me into believing that it was “firefighters”…”covered in gasoline”. It was so bad I could taste it. I’m 40 years old, I have a car and I ride quads, I know the difference between the smell of gasoline and the smell of spray paint or paint thinner/glues used for huffing. Not to mention the door they have a label on that says “hotel guests only” and another sign that says “make sure this door stays closed”. Just before the incident I found that door to be open. Another red flag I should have noticed was that they “don’t rent to locals” or anyone who lives “within 30 miles of Medford”. What?! lol. I got the 3rd degree when I tried to leave a key at the front desk for my husband. “Do they have ID? Are they locals?” I’ve never been asked that anywhere I’ve ever stayed, ever. Right before the incident I called down to the front desk and told them I didn’t feel safe because I heard a terrifying scream down the hallway. I was told “I can assure you, it’s fine. If they do it again I’ll come up and take care of it.” Timeline: I found the side door open. 10 minutes later I heard the scream on the 3rd floor, 5 minutes later I heard loud arguing, 5 minutes after that I smelled the strong smell of spray paint or paint thinner. 5 minutes later, 4 men and one woman speaking Spanish, one leaving with a backpack from a utility room that was propped open with a toilet brush or something. After I called, the front desk dismissed my complaint and said they were “firefighters covered in gasoline”. They didn’t realize I happen to know the closest fire where it would make any sense to stay there is 20 minutes away and the firefighters are camping out there. I asked for a refund and tried to leave. They first told me no. Then they called and said the manager said that if I got out of there in 15 minutes I could have a refund. So, on my own I had to round up all my things in a rush, carry one suitcase and two grocery bags plus my dog and get downstairs within 15 minutes. It was ridiculous and they made me feel like I was the one in the wrong. Now I get to be sick because they refused to even investigate something happening in their building. And nothing anyone can say can make me believe it was “firefighters covered in gasoline”. I...

I got a room up here today after working very long and hard in the steaming hot heat and still haven't got in the shower at the moment yet came down from outside to come smoke a cigarette because it's a non-smoking facility for indoor smoking I'm sitting in my car smoking my cigarette minding my business doing nothing wrong and the front desk lady just comes in pools right in front of us in the parking spot she's the lady with the box braids and purple hair goes inside and not even 2 minutes later comes out straight to my car with an attitude asking if I got a room and what number is it she had no reason to bother me she had no reason coming to me with that attitude she had she had no reason to approach me she literally just got here and was already trying to cause problems but yet sitting right behind where my car is parked walking towards the front as I'm sitting here a homeless guy sitting behind my car picking up butts from cigarettes smoking them walking towards the front of the motel right now but yet the lady that came to my car to approach me for whatever reason she thought she had has not said nothing to this homeless man that's over here around people's cars so why did she approached me I was doing nothing wrong I've been to this motel before and I was already told about this lady the first time I didn't have to deal with her but she literally ain't even been here 10 minutes and she's already tried bothering me for no reason making sure it's known it's the girl with box braids purple and I do not appreciate her coming and bothering me when she comes over here and hadn't even been here long enough to clock in and that's it but come to bother me and I am a paying customer that paid $125 today so I'm trying to figure out what reason she came to me and I feel disrespected and I feel like she's picking and harassing and my fiance is black I feel she was being racist at that and it was a racial thing because I'm white and he's blackthere was no reason for her to come to my car and bother us at all so I'm making it known this motel is great but the lady with the box braids purple box braids heavy set lady missing teeth she's a problem and I will be hollering at corporate to let them know and the front desk manager to let them know what she did because I don't feel very pleased with what she did especially for the amount of money I paid I shouldn't be bothered like that or approached that quickly I felt threatened and disrespected especially when I was not doing anything and she had no reason to bother me or my fiance I will be calling corporate and I will be telling the manager first thing...

I live locally so I knew that it would be tough to find a hotel that would rent me a room for several days. I absolutely did not feel safe staying at a weekly rental motel. The front desk person was great when I checked in. However, the night before I was to check out, I requested to stay a few more days. When I showed the night person my ID and she saw my address, her entire demeanor changed and she was a bit sour towards me. She asked why I needed a room since I was local. She insisted on specific details. She told me that the day shift woman should have told me about the $250 deposit for locals. I said I would go get my card so she could complete that. She told me to bring it down in the morning and have the other woman do it so she would know she made a mistake without the night lady having to tell her directly. She said she had already confronted her on another issue and she got in trouble for doing so. I told her I would bring it down in the morning. I thought about it and decided not to. It wasn't my responsibility to get in between these two ladies because the night person had an issue with the day person. That night I was meeting a friend outside. We were walking back to the elevator and she stopped me by say "um young lady, did you give your card to the day girl"? I told her no, I felt she could discuss with her. It wasn't my job to do hers. I was embarrassed because 1. She spoke to me in a very condescending tone in front of my friend. 2. Made me seem like I hadn't paid for my room (she didnt say anything about it being for a deposit that night). Again in front of my friend. 3. I was a guest at the hotel. Just because I live locally doesn't give her the right to talk down to me. I'm not the type of person to trash hotels or do anything stupid and I don't give off that impression. I've been a bookkeeper for 30 years and I have 2 young kids I'm raising (they were not with me during this time). I paid for the hotel just like everyone else. I have found myself in a very unfortunate and scary situation and have lost housing. I'm desperately trying to find some place else to live. I already feel bad enough. I don't need some 60 year old front desk night clerk talking to me like I'm garbage or a teenager who just snuck in past curfew!! She barely spoke to me after the 2nd interaction and I was fine with that. I decided to not extend my stay any longer. I'm now staying at the Clarion Pointe on the other side of Medford and the staff has been nothing but smiles, chatting with me, and very helpful. The assistant manager is wonderful too. I very much enjoy being treated like...
