Spirit Halloween — Local services in Medford

Halloween 2023. Ordered a 6 yrs old Marshmellow Dj costume. Good discount, decent outfit for the price, arrived on time. The website is a little hard to navigate especially for shipping availability. I liked the many options for shipping, but overall navigating the site can be a hassle. Over all a good experience, at this point I would rate it a 4/5 stars and I would do business again.

Sadly the next visit to the local store in GP is quite disappointing. We arrived the 28th to purchase my 14 yr old’s last minute idea change. Now first the prices are Thee highest anywhere in town guaranteed. But for this I knew I could find what he wanted so rather than waste time we went straight there. $50 for a simple costume ok not the worse choice, lets go. Upon that night returning home my son noticed that his outfit had stains on it. We looked and there were many, we thought maybe that is how it was suppose to be? Well the strong stench of cologne from the shirt would tell you other wise. This item is very clearly used. The store has a strong no return policy to any items used especially. Well this is where it gets bad. They will not accept our return/exchange at the local store even with pictures with times 20 minutes after the sale clearly shown. Having the receipt did nothing and so did the phone number you have to hunt for on their website just to speak to someone.

Upon the conversation on the phone, do not waste your time. 45 minute wait time and I have never been spoken so rudely for simply asking “What can we do yo remedy this?” The rude lady over the phone will tell you nothing or silence and when asked again will bark at you with anger. The only response you will get is they will not accept returns or refunds to try the local store but most likely they will not.

I was not worried about the money but the principle. That we received a used item which should never had happened in the first place, especially for their prices, and the way of being treated by them about this whole experience. I believe everyone should be aware and check your items before you pay, even if they are sealed. You cannot return them or get them replaced even days...

I hate that parking lot, but the store is great and has always been great. The security guard was overwhelmed with how many people were coming in and out. Felt that the store space was smaller and there was so many people constantly running into me. There should have also been a line for just returns. All the store associates were very nice and informative. I asked for help and the fairy right away helped me out. Its a great store, but this year the space...

Their staff is untrained and apparently incompetent as they told me I had until October 27th to return the costumes i purchased for my twins…. Here we are on the 27th and my partner was just told that they are no longer taking returns!!!! When he tried to explain to the manager that we were told the 27th all the manager said was “we’re not doing returns anymore”…. Absolutely will NEVER shop here again!!!
