Welcome to Medford La Michoacana!

Visiting on opening day and a few days later there is still a huge line.

If you know what La Michoacana sells, you'll love it. Of you love Mexican street food. You'll love it. This is the first oregon location to open up so many of the viewers of this review may have many questions. What do they serve? Why is it always packed, it's just ice cream with chili sauce. Why is their menu so small but at the same time filled with many options not listed?

That is the style of snacks sold and crafted here. I ordered hot (temperature wise) corn with hot cheetos and mayonnaise mixed together and served in a small cup. I additionally ordered a large snack of a giant flat chip covered in chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes and pig skin. Additionally with topped powdered cheese native to Mexico street foods. Lastly it was drizzled with light mayonnaise and valentina and a single lime wedge to squeeze on top just before eating.

Additionally I ordered basic nachos more commonly found in a movie theater just so I'd have the extra cheese and chips for the corn.

The corn I had is in the photos I uploaded that shows an entirely red top sitting next to the nachos. Those are Esquites (corn) with hot cheetos and mayo mentioned above.

Bonito lugar, el muchacho me entendio en español pero sean pacientes porque estan aprendiendo, tardaron unos 15 min. Si quieres mas queso, pues diles, no se enojen raza. Sean amables y te atienden bien. Pedimos un esquite y nachos, estaban buenos. Mexicanos apoyen a negocios mexicanos, raza! Nada...

Very inconsistent experience, sometimes you get what the picture shows and get 3 good scoops and sometimes you get much less, 3 small scoops that is about half of what it needed. Also if there are missing ingredients, let us know when we order and not after we pay.

My wife had the bad server a few times now and we might have to find another place.

This is what we got and nothing was eaten out of it. When we complained about it, we were told that is what the owner wants them to do. Hopefully that isn't the case and I'll be happy to update my review if the owner can fix what was wrong...

I only speak English and I'm still getting the hang of Google translate and that means I have ended up with Ice Cream envy when ive ordered here. I end up with a little dish of whatever flavor I can read the label of and point at. while I see magnificently crafted sundaes and shakes and fruity concoctions being enjoyed all around me. they have a menu with a brief description of each item in English but that thing rotates at the speed of runaway mack truck. so live and learn, I mean learn Spanish if you really want something you can lick home about from La...
