Out of all the line dancing bars Iâve been to in Florida, this one, unfortunately, doesnât meet the mark.
Is their security amazing? Absolutelyâ10/10. Do they have a line dancing floor? Yes. Do they actually cater to line dancers? Not reallyâand hereâs why:
No DJ. Like many line dancing bars, they allow song requests, which is great in theory. But thereâs no actual DJâjust a laptop connected to the speakers. That would be fine if someone was actively managing the requests, but that wasnât the case. Most of the songs people put in never got played.
Poor music selection for dancers. When you do request songs, thereâs a long list of tracks they wonât playâincluding many of the most popular and fun line dancing songs. It feels like whoever is in charge of the playlist just picks what they want to hear. I was there from 9 PM to 2 AM, and songs that were in the queue before the crowd even arrived were never played.
Weak dance floor environment. The vibe was off. If youâve been to well-known spots like The Barn or Cowboys, you know thereâs usually a sense of floor etiquetteâsure, there are always a few outliers, but there's still structure. Here, it felt chaotic. There was no one managing the floor, reminding people not to bring drinks onto it, or keeping the walkways clear. Thatâs typically the DJâs jobâand without one, there was no coordination.
The DJ plays a bigger role than just hitting playâtheyâre the eyes and ears of the floor. Yes, staff and security are important, but the DJ helps maintain the rhythm and the rules of the night. Without that presence, the whole...
Read moreWent to my niece's 40th Birthday party there. I'm a career service industry professional, so when I give the details of my review, I'm not speaking out of school. The new location in downtown is great, nice venue with a big dance floor, pool tables, and pretty decent bar food. They have free line dance lessons and the man that does them is very good! When I arrived, most of our party was there and in our own area of tables with a "buffet" of menu items to enjoy. Everything was awesome until I went to the bar. For reference, I've bartended for many years in the past, that said, I pay attention. My first experience was with Sarah, she was friendly and attentive. My second and third experience was with Jessica, who was just bitter, unhappy and honestly, not someone who I would let service any guest unless they don't want return business. And after about an hour of talking amongst other people in our party, seems everyone was having the same unpleasant experience. If the owners read these reviews, in my humble (experienced) opinion, you might want to reconsider letting her come in contact with any patron you hope to return. She was miserable, and unhappy, and extremely inefficient. She is directly affecting your...
Read moreIn town for the weekend with my fiancĂ© and his baseball team, decided to go line dancing at the County Line. Not very busy as it was 9:00pm at the time. I tell my fiancĂ© put everyoneâs drink on my tab. We order our first round and get served quick. Started our tab with a younger long haired brunette(no tattoos). I go back up to order a drink by myself, I got ignored for about 10mins. The bartender made eye contact with me multiple times and kept serving the people coming up next to me to order. She served four separate MEN that STOOD DIRECTLY NEXT TO ME. I was getting so irritated I walked away with my empty cup and asked my fiancĂ© to get me a drink. He walked up to the bar and instantly got served. For the rest of the night, my fiancĂ© had to order my drinks, never having to wait. I left no tip because I couldnât get served and was treated horribly. As weâre walking out the bartender is staring at us through the window, giving us a dirty look cause she was mad I didnât tip. She came outside yelling and cursing. I always tip very generous but if I canât go up to the bar without getting a dirty look and being ignored, Iâm...
