I like to order the blonde roast drip brew because Starbucks usually hands you your drink right when you order a drip brew since it is already ready, it helps them when they are busy because it doesn't add another drink for the barista to make, and blonde roast is only available in the mornings anyway. Today they put my coffee in the queue with all the other orders and it took a long time to get, and this is not what the other Starbucks stores do, and it was confusing at first because I didn't realize this is what was happening. I actually got back in line to ask the cashier if my order gotten lost, and then of course right when I got up to the cashier again the barista called my order, and since I was now walking from a different direction and not one of the people hovering in front of the counter, he didn't see me walking over and called my name multiple times like I hadn't been paying attention or something...the whole exchange was awkward and not really necessary. I guess I will now ask every time I order a drip brew if it will be handed to me then or put in with other drinks. I do sometimes use the app but I didn't this time because I was driving and not ordering anything complicated so I figured it would have been unnecessary. Anyway, lesson learned. Normally I like this Starbucks, so I am still giving 4 stars, but my advice is if you want to order a regular coffee, just go somewhere else, it's not...
Read moreI was greeted when I came in, which is always nice. I didn't feel rushed when ordering, and my cashier made sure I got everything I wanted. Also, everyone behind the counter seemed happy and enjoying their job.
I came to study, and I'm glad I did. There's enough seating for about 27 people, and it doesn't feel crowded (though there were about 10 people inside when I was in).
There are outlets along the walls and benches!
I really liked my grande Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cold Brew (without Cookie Crumble topping) and would order it again.
Restroom is for paying customers.
The only problem I had is with the Wifi. My Android phone connected to the Wi-Fi just fine after entering my name, email, and zip code to the log-in page of Starbucks (the Wifi login page), but my Mac wouldn't show the log in page. I just found the solution online! Connect to the Starbucks wifi and then open up a browser and in the searchbar type "1.1.1.1" and return/enter. That should take you to the Starbucks login page (and any other Wifi login page of another cafe if you experience the same problem...
Read moreI would literally kiss every single employee here on the forehead if I could, I’m not joking, they’re that awesome.
This is the best Starbucks in the Antioch area, from customer service, to drink and food quality, everything here is awesome! I began visiting this location when they moved (shout out to the drive thru) and I’ve never had a negative experience. The staff is consistently nice and friendly! No matter what I order, I can always trust that it’ll taste good and they’ll make it perfectly.
Yeah the lines are a little long sometimes, but that’s to be expected when you go to a coffee shop at 7am when literally everyone is trying to get their morning coffee before work (so be patient and understanding). Even still, the team works hard and fast to get the line moving as quickly as possible, and they do a great job of getting everyone in and out in a timely manner.
I could literally write an essay about how much I love this Starbucks location and it’s employees. Be nice to them because they’re amazing and deserve all the kindness...
