Far Better Distillery — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

Fresh off a breakup (thanks, Beau, you emotionally unavailable legend), I grabbed a few friends, packed my emotional baggage, and flew to Nashville in search of good vibes, bad decisions, and preferably a country boy with a mustache and a snapback. Priorities.

Somewhere between honky-tonk hopping and oversharing in Ubers, we stumbled into Far Better Distillery, and let me tell you, it lives up to the name.

We were greeted by TJ, the head distiller and now my emotional support human, who led us through a full tasting experience like the bourbon fairy godmother I didn’t know I needed. Bourbon? Smooth. Vodka? Dangerously sippable. Gin? Sexy in a bottle. TJ shared knowledge, cracked jokes, and poured like he knew I was rebounding.

We learned a lot (like what a column still is and that healing tastes like oak and vanilla), had an absolute blast, and left with a few bottles and slightly looser morals.

Far Better isn’t just a distillery, it’s a vibe. A must-visit for anyone in Nashville who likes craft spirits, charming company, and a splash of accidental group therapy.

10/10 would let TJ fix...

The distillery was fantastic! This is the second time we’ve done the food tour they offer as well because it was so much fun! The whole food tour is filled with historical facts and fun facts and great reco’s of where to go in Nashville. Evan was our tour guide and his service was amazing AND he was so knowledgeable! Not to mention you get a full meal between all the stops at iconic food joints! At the end, the owner let us taste some of the different bourbons and moonshine that he made and gave us an awesome explanation of how it’s made, the history of how his distillery came to be with his family and overall just really really a cool experience. I feel like I learned so many new things from this tour. Thank you TJ and Evan for the great...

This is a perfect way to end our trip to Nashville. Far Better Distillery and Food Tour was excellent. Our tour guide, Even, was outstanding. I have a recommendation: should you take an Uber and/or Lyft, please put the company name down Far Better Distillery when looking for the place in Nashville. Don't make the mistake that we made was to put the address in the search because there are two areas with the same address in Nashville and we were taken tonthe other area. Thanks to Evan for waiting for us to get there. The places that Evan took us to were amazing. All of the places were delicious.
