Beware of this unscrupulous company. Their customer service is the worst. When we arrived at Stay Heirloom property in Savannah Georgia on September 27, 2024, for a two-night stay, we were surprised to find that the property had no power, especially since we received an email from Stay Heirloom that morning stating that the property was ready for occupancy. A power outage had occurred the night before our arrival and the power remained out for an extended period. The absence of essential services, particularly electricity, rendered the premises unsafe and unsuitable for occupancy, violating the lease term of the agreement. They failed to offered any assistance with lodging, lighting, air conditioning, or other necessary accommodations. Their response was “ it is no fault of their own”. Read moreI rented an heirloom managed property at 4417 Dryades in NOLA this past weekend. As was known to Heirloom before our arrival, the AC was not working. In mid May, in New Orleans! They sent a property management person who left knowing it was not fixed and without communicating that to us. It was not until the 4th rental day and many phone calls and telling them how to help solve the problem, that it was fixed. We had older guests, 1 year olds, and other vulnerable people. Our weekend was very negatively impacted. Guests couldn't sleep because of the heat and humidity. The pool room was a sauna. The water was tepid and seemed not to be chlorinated. It was disgusting. Read moreThe absolute WORST. Do not stay at their properties. I was under the impression that they just helped manage locals properties that were short term rentals (like legit B&Bs). Seemed to be on the up and up.
I get the disinct feeling that they are the worst for not only guests but also owners. If they ever ask you to remove a review because they will refund your stay DO NOT DO IT. They will refund the stay but not the fees etc etc. I actually tried being nice and telling them they could just return half and they returned half WITHOUT their fees. They were very shady and just overall a lot of the mess that they did made me actually feel bad for the owners.
