One day, I casually asked if they could make porridge. She didn’t say “maybe” or “we’ll see” — she said, “I’ll make it tomorrow.” And guess what? Next day — BOOM. Hot, creamy porridge waiting for me like it had my name on it. No hesitation, no attitude — just love in a bowl.

Then I asked about banana bread… same thing. She said she’d make it, and she did — fresh, soft, flavorful, and gone way too fast because it was that good.

Every request I’ve made has been met with kindness, real hospitality, and ridiculously good cooking. VIP Zone doesn’t just take care of your appetite — they take care of you.

RUN DON’T WALK TO THIS SPOT!!! THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT IT’S AN EXPERIENCE! First off the owners are warm , friendly and patient! This was my first time trying Haitian cuisine so I wasn’t familiar with all of the dishes. Immacula went above and beyond to patiently explain what the dishes were. I tried the Griot and it was 🔥🔥🔥The pork was flavorful, the rice was so good , the Mac n cheese was A1 and you know everyone’s Mac n cheese is not always edible 🤣🤣🤣 The salad was fantastic I loved everything! Food: excellent food. Actually best in the neighborhood. Their portions are generous and the food is always fresh. They serve many sides they cook up on the spot and always give you pickled veggies. My favorite has been fried turkey & stew chicken. & the patties is great.

Service: the owner is a sweetheart and been a chef in neighborhood for a while. She let me try many of the patties for free and my favorite is the herring if you like a little kick .
