Nyla House is truly a hidden gem in Brooklyn! The food and coffee are top-tier—whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a relaxing meal, everything is made with care and quality ingredients. Plus, the wine bar is a great touch, perfect for unwinding in the evening. Beyond the food and drinks, the space itself is warm, inviting, and perfect for getting work done during the day. It has a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that makes it easy to focus while enjoying great coffee and good vibes. Highly recommend stopping by, whether you’re looking for a chill workspace, a great meal, or a nice glass of wine!

Very cute, chill spot. The burger and juicy bird sandwich were phenomenal and cooked to perfection. I visited on a Wednesday and they had a DJ and a special menu for the evening. I asked for a dry red wine and was recommended the Chianti, which was very nice. The glasses were also a cute touch. Very calm vibe. Would come back again to have a coffee and do some work away from home. **Also a very cute space to host an event. I've seen they had classes and other gatherings in the space.

Nyla House was my safe haven during my month in NYC- the drink, the staff, the food, the vibes, everything is amazing! I fully recommend stopping in. It’s clear that they are a community-centric establishment that shows love and care to anyone that steps through the door

I was excited to patronize this cute little coffee shop/cafe that I learned about by going on my regular neighborhood runs. But of course that excitement was extinguished the minute I entered. First, when I arrived a few minutes before 10am the lights were off and it appeared the place was closed (*note: I think the owner came in right before me and noted the same thing). Second, the individual they had taking orders was probably the most lackluster, underwhelming, customer service person I’ve encountered. Another customer came in right after me and asked how the customer service rep was doing and received a very bland response. (It’s so important who you have representing the face of your company). Finally, I know it’s a small cafe with what appeared to be only one staff person, but I feel I waited longer for my order than I would have liked. I’ll chalk all of these little things up to new business “blues.” For what it’s worth, the cafe is really cute inside and is a great place to meet up with a friend after a work out at the nearby St. John’s Park & Recreation Center. I will come back and continue to support and patronize because I know local businesses like these are vital to...

I have ordered 3 times from this place just to make sure . This place is abusing the community in terms of pricing, it is literally causing the market of housing in the area to be higher and with no benefit to the community. I make it my business to try every bacon egg and cheese at all delis, supermarkets, cafes etc in my area (crown heights) this place may use a beef bacon buts its basically beef jerky, with scrambled eggs that are cooked lazy, on toast that is below average in not just taste but size. Businesses like this abuse the “Black owned” label as a way to rob good folks that been here. I would say more especially about my experience with ordering before hand and not a thing was done until I got there with cash to put in there hands. So I’m trying to have hope that they will do better and stop charging people 10$ for a small light ingredient sandwich. The coffee is something I won’t get into just because of the overall attitude of the place and FYI( I live a few houses over and guess what that cafe was before it opened ……. A CAFE !!!!that was also OVER PRICED. DO BETTER for the COMMUNITY. ( I will say the place/cafe area does look...

I came here to pick up a Too Good to Go order. I walked in with a smile and said “hello” and was not greeted in return. I told the only person that was looking at me from behind the counter that I was picking up a Too Good to Go order. That person replied, “a what?” The cashier then chimed in and said “I do that over here”. Not sure why I wasn’t greeted back so I could know that as soon as I walked in. The cashier made it a point to let me know that I shouldn’t be swiping my phone to confirm the pick-up in the app and that the restaurant is supposed to. I thought that was odd because the thought of the staff in a restaurant touching my phone to swipe just doesn’t seem right. I informed her that I had been doing it this way since I started using the app to which she replied “well you’ve been doing it wrong”. The interaction was off putting and it made me change my mind about ordering something aside from my Too Good...
