Delta Manor Men's Shelter — Hotel in New York

As far as shelters in NYC go this place does some good work. They not only helped me find housing, but they assisted me in stabilizing my mental health. The staff show a great deal of compassion in assisting the residents in their housing and mental health situations. If not for the staff at this facility I would not be in the position that I’m in today. I received a great deal of encouragement from both Peter Henry and Kimona Heath, two staff members that work there and they helped me get from point A to point housing. Be aware though, this is a shelter. People will fight and argue and the food is atrocious. Your best bet is to use your food stamps to buy your own meals and the avoid confrontation when you’re staying here. Best of luck to whomever goes here...

good place they specialize in supportive housing that's it if you have any other vouchers they do not have the skill to help you with that the people who work there are amazing - right now the supervisor for the daytime she's actually a problem to regular people because of her oversensitivity an authority complex but other than that the place is fairly good the people who serve food they're very polite the guards very good Deidre is definitely someone you want to get as your housing specialist / case manager she's amazing other than the supervisor being a troublemaker the place...

Be Mindful working here PD will not have your back she will lie to your face and if you have an issue with Peter Henry she will lie about all the incidents that took place and make sure to make it seem like it’s his word against yours. The clients are not hard to deal with but those 2 will have it out for you if you ever go against them i got fired today because of them and she will laugh in your face like nothing is wrong and turn around and go to HR against you be mindful when...
