Pretty disappointed with this place. Heard about it through word of mouth from some of friends and they claimed it was good, I saw a vegan part to the menu and decided to give it a try.
The food was bland, somewhat mediocre, tasteless, not spicy (I chose medium spice), and it wasn't nourishing or satisfying. Just seemed like slightly more expensive chinese food. The woman taking my order on the phone was obviously new. At the end of my order I give her my address and made sure to spell out my street name, then she tells me theres a $5 delivery charge, which I heard was based on distance and I'm only two neighborhoods (1.5 miles) away. I accepted it. Then she calls me back to confirm my street name. I confirm again and ask if everything is alright, in which she assured things were fine. Ten minutes later the delivery driver calls me asking to confirm my street name, in which I do. After he hangs up I call the store and speaking to the same woman I ask if there was a mistake on the delivery fee. She keeps saying no, rushing me off the phone, she keeps interrupting me by saying bye and she's inserting these sarcastic remarks as I'm trying to make sure of the situation. The food arrives an hour after ordering and the driver declares that there was a mistake in the delivery fee as the receipt reflects her mistake.
I'm going to learn from this mistake, next time I eat from a restaurant for the first time, I'm going to visit the place first. The food wasn't really worth the...
Read moreI’ve been ordering food in person and via UberEats for about 3 years and unfortunately, I’ve experienced a decline in the consistency of the food. The only items I order are the drunken noodles, spring rolls, French fries, and/or the Thai iced tea. The most recent order of drunken noodles was extremely disappointing; I couldn’t consume more than a few pieces of carrot and broccoli from the entree. The noodles were over saturated with water so they were thick and breaking apart and everything was under seasoned. It tasted and looked as though the preparer rinsed the flat noodles and vegetables then sprinkled black pepper on top. There was no sauce at the bottom of the container like there usually is and areas of the flat noodles were completely colorless with no flavor. I’ve ordered their drunken noodles over 20 times so as soon as I opened the container, I knew it was not prepared correctly.
This is the second or third time I’ve experienced the drunken noodles being inconsistent but this seems to only happen when I order online. When I ordered in person in the past, everything was delicious and fresh. I’m not sure if this is done intentionally because the business knows that online orders are less likely to return the meal because there’s a third party delivery service as opposed to when a customer orders in person, they can easily express dissatisfaction directly in-store. Regardless, I’m disappointed and will no longer order from...
Read moreThis time Thai Cuisine let me down. I love Thai food but, due my IBS I can not have it all the time and when I have it, it must to be with not chilly at all. Recently I placed an order through Seamless and on the notes I put to make sure to make it with not Chilly powder ( I know, I supposed to write Chilly "Paste" ), then I called and spoke with someone who I explained what I wrote in the note, he said he got it and he will make it without Chilly, guess what?..When I got the food, it was Spice as hell. I called them and have a little argument with the guy and then he said " Oh you wrote chilly powder and we don't have that, we only have chilly paste"..????....But, it's the same, he said NO..But, if it's not the same, why you didn't correct me when I called you to check my order ?..He wanted to play smart with me but what he played is his dumbness. I think I'm done with this people, this happened to me before and it was fixed, remember the lady that'd works there, Guadalupe, that she fixed for me, but this time I had to call Seamless and make an adjustment on the bill. Some restaurants owners/managers instead to fix their mistake show their arrogant and condescending side instead to keep...
