I had so much fun. What a great thing to do on a date. Ordered the yin and yang Hot Pot half hot half not . Got the lunch special for like ten bucks ..Wow.. The food was nice and fresh and it cooked really quick in the boiling sauce. I also went to the sause table( and stupidly added a lot more they're really hot spices).. and trust me when they say that's hot oil it really is ! Garlic, green onions ,sesame sauce ,hot peppers and more hot peppers. The meat and veggies that we cooked in the hot sauce soaked up all the hot and became seriously ...A force to be reckoned with. When we ran out of meat and veggies in the soup we just added more and it cooked quickly. The waiter and waitress were very attentive to us( it wasn't that crowded) came by refilling the sauce as needed. How to ask a couple times for the check and then finally walk up to the register after 5 minutes, but apart from that I enjoyed myself, and I'll certainly return Tip #1- Do not go when it's crowded like at night and on the weekends. Tip #2- The HOT STUFF( on the sauce table) IS REALLY HOT. .. NOT LYIN TIP #3- PLEASE GO for LUNCH and get the NICE $10 lunch special so you don't have $100 CHECK. .( Were seated immediately)...NO WAIT TIP #4 - ENJOY... WAS GREAT FUN.. EXPERIENCE. I went to Little Sheep on Sunday night for my birthday with my partner, it was our first time doing Hotpot and it has been something i have been wanting to do for years and i was NOT disappointed omg. I have to admit we were very nervous walking in because we were worried about possibly encountering anything discriminatory becuase we were the ONLY black people in the restaurant- which we were prepared for but we were positive and we traveled a lONGGGG way for a great experience ..given the climate in our country..going ANYWHERE in our city can be a little scary BUT THANK GOD it wasnt like that at all and we felt welcome and comfortable. THE STAFF was the KINDEST i have ever encountered they answered any and every question we had. I did do a little research about Hotpot and the dos and donts and great flavor combos so we werent completely lost, but, even if i hadnt, the staff were really amazing and helpful. We ordered the Yin Yang broth to get a little bit of both worlds and the flavors were bold and deep in both of the broths i really cant choose a favorite. It was a really great first time and now that we know what we like we will definitely order WAY more!
