I give this place 3 stars because it's just ok. Had to be here for 8 days due to being close to Cancer Centers of America. We needed a hotel with a kitchen so we could cook decent, healthy meals. The room itself is cozy!! The closet is very strange. It has a door in kitchen and then in bathroom for access. The choice of closet organizer is weird and not very useful of space. The only dresser in room has two drawers. There is a large eat at table with four chairs which was very nice. Only one side chair. So if you wanted to watch TV, you either sat in the one chair, a dining table chair, or the bed. There were 3 of us for 8 days!!! The kitchen sink was ridiculous!!! Too small to wash a pot and the faucet came out so far that if you did try to wash anything the water ended up in the floor or on you. Seriously had to wash some dishes in the bathroom sink which is bigger than kitchen sink and even rinse some under the tub faucet!!! No table beside the one chair to do work over 8 day period. The dish washer is very small so washing pots or large dishes wasn't an option. The breakfast bar was ok, but nothing to brag about. Everyday...Frozen egg omelets, frozen fried egg, scrambled egg and every other day either turkey sausage or Canadian bacon except for one day...pork sausage. Very mundane and thrown out in hot plate to eat. Doesn't seem to be any effort or pride put into the food. They did have a great assortment of yogurt and oatmeal toppings, cereal and the usual waffle station. Maybe I'm spoiled by staying at homewood suites, but unfortunately there isn't one close by here :( . The pool was pitiful as well. One umbrella for entire pool area, no towels out, bugs and leaves in pool. Also, had to go to front desk to ask for TP for our room. That was a first!!! Overall, the place is clean which I do appreciate, alot!! The front desk people are very nice. I would stay again ONLY because I would have too for the local health care and needed a kitchen but not by choice. I've stayed at the local hampton in and it's so much better but they do not have kitchens!! The best thing about this hotel is its VERY convenient and away from busy main roads so you get a sense of relaxation and security. I just wish more thought would've gone into the set up of the rooms and the breakfast bar. That would bring this to a...
Read moreWe checked in, set our stuff down and drove 30 minutes away to eat dinner in Senoia. As we walked off the elevator from dinner the people in the room next to us opened their door to air out their room from an apparent fish fry. The smell instantly seeped in under our door. I am asthmatic and can’t handle smoke or smells. We called the front desk to get a room change, they informed us they couldn’t do that but offered to spray Lysol, or suggested we could open the door, how does that help asthma??? We asked if we could get a refund so we could go to a different hotel, but according to management we’ve been here too long. They didn’t want us to switch rooms because “they’d have to clean two”. The great part is during the call to the front desk I walked in the bathroom and found hair in the bathtub. I had to clean the bathtub with hand sanitizing wipes that I happened to have in my purse, so to say we left the room cleaner than when we walked in is an understatement. The only thing they’ll find left in our room is the wipe I used in the trash can with the black hair from the bathtub.
They did eventually move us to a king size room because my husband showed them on the app that he knew they had the room because we could book it there. We are now in the king size room, the bed in the bag for the couch was left with dirty sheets and the shower handle is broken…
The two elevators- inspection certificate expired in 2022 and one of them is out of order.
I can’t stand when companies/management get so greedy they don’t care about...
Read moreTerrible experience at this Hotel. Terrible customer service. I was leaving for work in the morning as I’m leaving the hotel for the day. A gentleman approaches me and states that he works for the hotel and is cleaning the AC units that day. He asked if he can come in my room while I’m not there to fix the AC or clean the AC, I tell him no I’m not comfortable with that when I’m off work you can have somebody come back and I continue to go about my day and go to work. I get home from work and I noticed everything is moved in my room and someone has clearly gone into my room , and looking for possessions I noticed my Rolex watch was missing , I reached out to the general manager named Mr.robida. Craig has still not reached out to me for three days since the incident yet to respond to me. I’ve emailed I’ve called left messages and nothing. I had to reach out to a corporate office team that reached out to him and stated that someone was watching the outside AC repairman while they were in my room which is clearly a lie because I noticed when he asked, he was all by himself with other AC repairman if you were looking for a hotel, not to care about security, not to care about your safety and to invade your privacy. This is the perfect hotel for you also, if you don’t like good customer Service this one...
