Taco Mac Newnan — Restaurant in Newnan

The server was Janette according to others. Not sure what her name was she never stated. We thought she was new at first so we were lenient. She never smiled, never really showed care to our needs. It was around 9:30pm when we got there. She took our drinks but then took extremely long to come back. My friend had 1 cup of water. She never brought a refill. Never thought to ask if he wanted one. It took so long for her to ever get our order. The food came, no water. Midway through eating, no refill still. He did not want to complain but because it had been so long he walked to his car, grabbed two water bottles and drank those instead because she never had a refill. Instead we saw her sitting down on the job, all her tables in her section, DIRTY and it was not busy at all, she had 2 tables at most, us being one of them. She would sit down & talk even after we would ask her for something. She was flirting w a customer meanwhile we were sitting down waiting for her to come back. She did not pre bus, she did not ask us how our food was or if everything was okay. she told us she had no more limes for us but after the service now we won’t know if they were actually out of limes or if she was too lazy to go prepare more. not only did she give attitude and give awful service but my friend paid in cash and she did not even ask if she would like change. She assumed they did not want change and never came back. As someone who has been a server for years I never assume the change is my tip. Even if it’s 5 dollars left over that is just rude and shows you have zero customer service. We would have told her to keep the change had she not assumed even after the attitude she gave But considering the manager was over there laughing with her after raising concerns about our service we did not want to talk to the manager anymore. All I did was ask for her name on our way out of the restaurant which she stated was Chelsea. Due to the manager laughing with the server after us explaining an issue I’m not even sure if Chelsea was her real name. I hope it is but it is the manger with the darkbrown hair that wears glasses. You would think that the manger would come to our table ask us what the problem is or if there is anything she could do for us but no. Instead she laughs and thinks it’s funny that we get treated this way. We did not want compensation but to just have good service, even decent. They assumed that they will have no consequences. I have never in my life received bad service at the newnan location until March-13-24. I have been coming here for years …. We just had an amazing server named Kayla. I wish we would’ve had her instead. On top of that I left a note to the server saying that she should not assume someone does not need their change when paying cash especially if the service was not up to par etc. then as we were leaving and In the parking lot the server told us that if we had something to say to say it to her face so I walked up and told her that we were unhappy because not only was the service awful but my friend only had one single glass of water the whole time we were there and we were there from about 9:30-1am and he had to go grab water out of his car to bring inside. We thought she was new so we tried to have patience but it only got worse and worse. I have never left a bad review even when service wasn’t the best but after today I could not keep quiet. If anyone knows the number for corporate please let me know. I would hate for this server to continue working here. We were made fun of just because we wanted a decent service. But what we received was less than decent. It was the worst service I have ever seen. Also the manager should never let the guests see her laughing with a server who just had complaints. The server clearly cared more about flirting, sitting down, having an unclean section and etc. How can you have 1 other table and give the absolute worst service. On top of that the server said we should’ve said what kind of service we wanted…. Obviously good service …..didn’t know we...

Introduction: First time eating at this location.

Welcome: The hosted greeted us with a smile. We were seated right away.

Ambiance: The outside was clean. The inside of the restaurant was clean including the restroom.

Experience: Melanie our waitress was very nice. She took our drink orders right away and gave us time to peruse through the menu. She was attentive and kindly go back and forth to retrieve our request. We were very happy a few of the waitresses came out and sung happy birthday to my grandson. The only downside was the guest seated near us were very loud.

Food: Me and one of our friends ordered SILVER COMET $13.99 (Guacamole, pepper jack, fresh grilled jalapeños, chipotle ranch) my side was the sweet potato fries (with salt…I did not like salt on my fries) and he opted for the regular steak fries. The other orders at the table were: grilled steak quesadillas $11.99 (side of fries), JUMBO BEEF POLISH SAUSAGE $12.49 (Toasted hoagie, chili, Cheddar Jack cheese, fresh chopped onion/side brussel sprouts), SOUTH STREET PHILLY $11.99 (Swiss American, onions, peppers, toasted Egelman’s hoagie roll), GRILLED CHICKEN $12.49 (Lettuce, tomato, house-made ranch. Make it buffalo with medium sauce with mac n cheese) kids meal: MINI CORN DOGS $6.49 (Honey mustard), peaches,oatmeal pie, and chocolate milk) AND GRILLED BURGER $6.49 (Cooked well done) with fries and milk. The birthday boy had complimentary slice of cheesecake. Everyone enjoyed their meal including the children.

Price: The quality and quantity was worth the price.

Will/Will not return: I will return but unsure when, due to me living out of the state.

Stars: Five stars

Tip: If you like the ingredients in the Silver Comet then it is worth the try. Both of us liked it.

Although Toco Mac has been at this location for quite awhile, I never visited until recently (2X). I was pleasantly surprised. I feel atmosphere, service, and prices I feel were spot-on for a "sports bar." I had a Burger and wings the first visit, and a different variety of Burger the 2nd time around.Tdn't he food came out fast, and fresh. The burger was perfectly cooked and unbelievably juicy. On the second visit service wasn't as good as the first. The server seemed to be having issues and a bad night. I ordered a second beverage and it was taking forever. I didn't know what happened but I got up from my table and didn't see her anywhere. I went up to the bar intending to order a nother beer and somehow she showed up. I sat back down and she brought the drink to the table explaining that she was at the bar the whole time but couldn't get the bartender attention to order. I don't know what is going on when a server can't get the bartender to pour a beer in over 20 min? (they were. Not That busy) I got drink and couldn't help but notice she may be in conflict with other employees (speculation). Anyway it kinda made the visit less enjoyable. However I would recommend folks to try them out if they haven't already. Hopefully the employees will settle their issues and provide great service like the first...
