It is with deep regret that I recount my utterly horrendous experience at the Extended Stay America Hotel. This establishment, which claims to cater to guests requiring extended stays, proved to be a catastrophic failure in every conceivable aspect, leaving me disheartened and longing for any alternative accommodation.

From the moment I set foot in the lobby, a feeling of desolation and neglect pervaded the air. The reception staff appeared disinterested and apathetic, paying minimal attention to guests' needs. The smell of marijuana and roach infested rooms, marked by an inexplicable lack of organization and an excruciatingly slow pace, hinting at the forthcoming ordeal that awaited me.

Upon entering my assigned room, any semblance of hope evaporated instantaneously. The living space, if it could be called that, was a bleak and austere environment. The furniture appeared as though it had been sourced from a flea market, worn down by years of relentless abuse. The threadbare carpet underfoot was more reminiscent of a crime scene than a comforting living space. The promised kitchenette, touted as a convenience for extended stays, was woefully under-equipped, with a meager assortment of utensils and appliances that appeared as though they were mere relics from a bygone era.

To my dismay, the litany of grievances did not cease at the accommodations. The state of cleanliness within the room was appalling, with dust collecting on surfaces and a distinct odor of staleness permeating the air. The bathroom was no exception, with mold and mildew making a grim home within the shower, and grime accumulating in the corners. The towels provided were a mockery of cleanliness, exhibiting unmistakable signs of overuse and disrepair.

Adding insult to injury, the hotel's advertised amenities proved to be nothing more than deceptive ploys to entice unsuspecting guests. The promised high-speed Wi-Fi was an exercise in futility, plagued by a sluggish connection that rendered any attempts at productivity an exercise in frustration. The so-called "fitness center" was a pitiful excuse for a workout space, with outdated and malfunctioning equipment that posed more of a hazard than an opportunity for exercise.

In a desperate attempt to salvage some semblance of sustenance, I ventured into the hotel's dining area, only to be greeted by a woefully inadequate breakfast spread. Stale pastries, limp fruits, and watery coffee constituted the sorry excuse for a morning meal, leaving me pining for even the most basic of culinary experiences.

Perhaps the most egregious offense of Extended Stay America Hotel was the complete disregard for guest satisfaction. Despite my repeated attempts to address these glaring issues with the management, my concerns were met with indifference and a shocking lack of accountability. It became abundantly clear that this establishment was more concerned with maximizing profits than ensuring a modicum of comfort for its guests.

In conclusion, I implore any traveler seeking an extended stay to steer clear of the Extended Stay America Hotel. Its abysmal accommodations, woeful lack of cleanliness, deceptive amenities, and utter lack of responsiveness have left an indelible mark of disappointment. Spare yourself the torment and seek refuge elsewhere, as this establishment fails miserably in providing a suitable environment for an...

My spouse, 5 yr old son and I arrived late Thursday evening to check in the hotel. Here are the issues we ran into immediately: The turn in to this place is off the end of an on ramp where cars begin to speed up. If cars aren't paying attention you will have an accident - poorly lit area. Pulling into the parking lot, we immediately noticed someone pulled into the building (see attached image) Upon entering the building there is a no smoking sign with someone smoking right next to it. Entering the building's "lobby" area was NOTHING like pictured. (See attached images) When being checked in, the clerk told me my balance was approximately$670.00 for a 2 night stay!!! So that was an ordeal we had to sort through. Our stay was nearly $300 and not worth that at ALL!

Despite knowing we will undoubtedly be disappointed, we are already exhausted after long day or work/travel and head, I go have my family park the car and gather our belongings to head to room 304.

The elevators are GROSS and smell like stale air and cigarettes. We get off on the 3rd floor and see "Easter eggs" everywhere- like a slurpee cup on top of door ways, trash in the hall ways and soda cans knocked over outside of doors. The further we get the nastier the smell gets - cigarettes, weed, nasty sticky carpets.. and when we walked into the room your hit it the face with an even more indescribable smell! (My throat STILL hurts from all the nastiness we were breathing in).

Cigarette burns on doorway and counter. Furniture old and outdated as well as broken. No light in refrigerator. The closet wasn't really a closet and just wire racks on a wall. (Doors used to be there but we're removed at some point). Beds were awful, pillows were flat although nicely arranged. Dust, rust and mold everywhere. A/C worked but smelled - at least the filter was clean. Floors were stained, had burn holes from cigarettes and you could hear your feet sticking to the floor (I had to wear shoes the whole time and even ended up washing my shoes when I got home!)

Empty shampoo bottles left in bath. Bathtub nasty and could use a scrub. Didn't have soap dish, hair dryer, ice bucket (don't recall seeing vending areas). We had to go get toilet paper from downstairs as there weren't extra. (And when we were doing that, we had to wait to speak with the attendant who was dealing with another very unsatisfied guest who had also apparently stayed at much nicer Extended Stays) (and btw, the attendant was very sweet and tried to accommodate her by putting her on the 3rd floor which was "her favorite and the nicest floor". We didn't hear the outcome but we definitely were on the same page as the other guest.)

In the daytime, we noticed trash everywhere on the premises littered about. Random recycling bins in parking lot. A/C units rusting and leaving trails down the building.

There are quite a few items that can still be mentioned but I'm hoping you get the point - DO NOT STAY HERE if you are expecting a somewhat decent hotel. Not even worth the 2 stars it has. Management- if you reply - I've read other replies and they are so generic! If you really want to make it up to us, call me and let's...

I checked into the hotel 🏨 on Friday September 6th and the room was nice . However when I used the bathroom the toilet started to leak underneath the back area . We noticed that it appeared as If it was leaking from the washer area in which we did notify the front desk to advise them of it. I was advised that maintenance was gone and that I can wait till tomorrow which was Saturday and he would be there first thing in the morning when he comes in at 8:00 or sometime that day. I sat there and no one ever did come I went out stopped at the desk and they did not have record of my maintenance request about the leak. The person at the desk Melissa asked me if I would like to move which I did take a look at another but I was not happy because it had a bad odor in it and I just decided to stay till Sunday which I was then advised maintenance was off Sunday so he will get to it on Monday. Monday came there was no record of my issue on file I was advised and someone from the front desk wanted to see where the leak was at so then she can let him know when he came personally so She could document the issue correctly. I went to work on Tuesday and stopped to the front desk when I was coming in and she advised me that the part had to be ordered although there was a lowes directly across the street and did need give me a timeframe when the part was coming. I was then pissed off and wanted my money back but advised she can switch rooms when all I wanted was it repaired . I had to come down every other day to get towels down on the floor in the bathroom to make sure it was not gonna leak or on the kitchen floor . I am was not happy because I was misadvised about timeframe to fix the issue and the fact that they did not know maintenance schedule to provide me accurate information. Also guest were leaving trash in the hall way caused roaches because I started having them and I know someone had to have bought them or they were already there from the start because I started seeing baby roaches in my bathroom area and kitchen and I use to take my trash to the dumpster everyday . But I definitely will not refer anyone to this hotel to stay at all for extended time nor for at...

This hotel does not compare to other 2 star hotels, even 2 stars nearby. Ended up here after some snafu with scheduling (bad on my part). Their customer service via the 1800 number were super helpful! Which is why I rated it 3 starts for service As far as the exact facility 2 stars is generous. Lobby: can't really call it a lobby. There are doors that you walk through to ever the area to check in. Sometimes someone is there. Sometimes not. It's extremely dirty. Cigarette butts and leaf debris everywhere. Smells like smoke. Stairwell: we tried to go up a set of stairs to avoid the elevator (which smelled like smoke) but someone must have been smoking inside the stairwell bc it was much much worse! The room: extremely outdated. Some of the pictures online do represent how outdated they are, but you can't tell how bad it is bc of the night lights they use. The rooms are not that well lit. The "closet": there are no doors or drapes just white plastic wire shelves The bathroom: finish is peeling off the sink fixture. Bathtub needs a lot of work... The drain plug was not fixed in place. The spigot looked like it was about to fall out of the wall The floors: Absolutely sticky, you could hear as you walked around... We all wore shoes everywhere (wish I had a pair for the shower) The AC: it was so warm and humid in the room. Turned the unit to max and set at 60... Maybe at best out cooled off to 76 degrees? Amenities in the room: check online what they promise. There is nothing in the room really. Only 1 shampoo. No hair dryer. No dish for the soap. No coffee maker in the room. The hallway: super warm and humid and smells like smoke. Location: near a bunch of stuff... But what isn't in Orlando? I'll never stay again. We slept with the lights on bc we were worried about roaches and kept all our bags up high and zipped shut.

My stay at the Extended Stay America on Equity Row in Orlando, FL, was decent overall, but there are several areas where improvements are needed. First, the rooms could use some serious minor repairs. These small fixes would go a long way in improving the overall comfort and appearance of the accommodations. The grounds also require better landscaping, as the current state detracts from the property's appeal. The door locks seem outdated and should be updated to enhance security and convenience for guests. Additionally, the washers and dryers on-site are in dire need of replacement, as they don't function as efficiently as they should. The pool is another area that requires attention—it needs to be fixed to provide a proper recreational space for guests. Lastly, the maintenance situation is concerning. The current maintenance man is not as effective as one would hope. It might be beneficial to have someone younger and more knowledgeable in that role to ensure that all necessary repairs and upkeep are handled promptly and correctly. While my stay here had its challenges, I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Maria and the manager, Joamie. Maria and Joamie are absolutely amazing. They are friendly, personable, and genuinely care about the guests' experience. Their intelligence and professionalism shine through in everything they do. Despite the property's need for some improvements, Maria and Joamie go above and beyond to ensure that guests feel welcome and well taken care of. Their dedication to their work truly elevates the experience, and I greatly appreciate their efforts. Overall, this property has potential, but significant improvements are needed to make it a more pleasant and comfortable place to stay.
