This hotel from A-Z was SPECTACULAR!! From check in with Sherry, to meeting Mrs. Juanita, I was blown away. My family and I Frequent Oklahoma quite often, and normally stay with family, but as our family has grown, the amount of room we need has also grown. This passed year we’ve stayed at 5 different hotel locations, the SpringHill, Holiday Inn, Comfort inn, etc. We have finally found a hotel that we LOVE, and have already booked for the next holiday. The rooms were EXTREMELY clean, and I mean meticulously cleaned. As I took my child a bath, I noticed how behind the toilets were even cleaned. The beds were nice and soft, the kitchen was well stocked even though we didn’t use it, it had everything we needed. The fitness room was great. The basketball court was very nice. The Landry room was immaculate. The fact that you had to use a key card to get into the actual hotel was great, we felt so safe. There are multiple seating areas all around the premise, there were also bbq grills which is great. The restrooms on the lobby floor were very clean. The cleaning staff were very courteous as well. The rooms were very quiet even though they were very busy. The water pressure and water temps were great (this is an issue at most hotels, but not here). I think the only improvement would be the breakfast buffet, the layout could def use a change up, it didn’t flow very well. Some new juice containers would be nice as well, or even the juice machines ( similar to a soft drink dispenser at a gas station) you see at other hotels would be greatly appreciated. The buffet itself was lacking a bit as far as options, example hard boiled eggs would be a nice addition, and maybe sticking with specific breakfast options would be better received, compared to the carnitas, and chicken option (I think it was chicken) I noticed no one really ate these “options” as well, so it went to complete waste. I might suggest doing ham, sausage, potatoes and eggs, or omelettes. This is what I’ve seen at other hotels, specifically the SpringHill about 2 minutes away. Also maybe putting out more items at once, instead of staggering the items would be better. I noticed people constantly having to ask for more yogurts (there were only 4 put out), and other items as well. I think a few new items in the buffet such as a new waffle liquid dispenser (the current one was very slow, and I couldn’t see the spigot) new juice containers, changing the layout, would match the energy of the hotel itself. Overall It is very much still a 5 star hotel. From the friendliness of the employees, to the EXTREME cleanliness of the rooms, to the well kept grounds, just Amazing. We enjoyed our stay here, and will def...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed one night in January. We made our reservation a day before arriving. We arrived at the hotel around 7 pm. Check in went smoothly. The parking space reserved for 15 minutes unloading was taken at the time by a truck. All of the spaces at the front door were taken. We mentioned this to the young man at the front desk. Before taking our luggage in we went to dinner and ran a couple errands. We returned to the hotel around 10 pm to find the vehicle was still parked in the space reserved for unloading. The man at the front desk said they could not find out who owned the truck parked in the space. So, we had to park far away from the front door, push a luggage cart down to the car and push it back to the front door to the elevator and to our room on the third floor. This set the tone for our stay. The furniture in our room was dirty. The coverings on the chairs at the dining table were completely deteriorating. The shades on the lights at the bathroom mirror were torn. Breakfast was not up to Hilton standards. The scrambled eggs were dry, no boiled eggs, no bananas, waffles were like cardboard. There was no hand sanitizer or gloves available in the dining area. The woman at the front desk let me use some she had in an almost empty container behind the counter. She said the hotel has been asking for hand sanitizer for the dining area but could not get it. A guest had his dog in the area where the food was. The housekeeper unlocked our door and came into our room at 9:30 am while we were getting ready to leave even though we had a privacy sign outside our door. When we checked out, I asked the woman at the front desk how many parking spaces were reserved for loading/unloading. Her curt answer was “all of them”. After I asked her twice how many spaces were specifically reserved for the 15 minute unloading, she said one space. And, she said it with attitude. This is a large hotel. One space is not enough for unloading/loading. And, they need to somehow reinforce the 15 minute parking in the space. On a positive note, the outer doors are locked at all times and require a keycard to get in. We will not stay in this hotel when in...
Read moreDates of stay: Thursday, 7-8-21 ~ Sunday, 7-11-21 Two adults and two kids (10 & 12) Room #323 (King bed suite) Clean and inviting entrance and lobby. Quick check-in process (we pre-booked online). Accommodated our request for a 3rd (top) floor room facing the direction of our parked vehicle. Room was clean but not without its problems. The handle on the toilet would stick and make the water run constantly if you didn’t “jiggle the handle.” The cabinets over the stove/dishwasher (yes, dishwasher) area looked like they were about to come off the wall. Very clean full kitchen and bathroom. Linens were clean and soft. The bed and pillows were comfortable and our kids didn’t complain about the fold-out bed. Having a full kitchen was a delight as we used it to prepare some meals. The complimentary breakfast each morning offered a variety of choices and the food was tasty and the dining area was clean and enjoyable. Facility is very secure and you must have your room key to gain entry to the building, pool area, and exercise room. The pool wasn’t very large and was 5ft deep at its deepest. The hot tub was closed and we were told it looked like they were going to permanently close it. Our boys used the basketball court (ball conveniently provided at the front desk). The exercise room was clean and had two modern treadmills with integrated televisions (used them daily), an elliptical, and free weights. The lobby bathrooms were very clean. We used this location as a hub for our OKC visit and went to Hurricane Harbor, Downtown, Mid-Town, Bricktown, the Boathouse district and the Stockyards. Convenient drive on either the interstate or Reno to any of these locations. If the room was a little more maintained/updated and the hot tub was open, we would’ve...
