NEXT TIME I WANT PASTA IN OKC, IM GOING TO ZIO'S OR JOHNY CARINOS......Where should I begin....... my family and I (Retired Military) arrived at Olive Garden in Westgate market around 1915 on 20 July. We were seated expeditiously but then as soon as we got our table the wait began. The group that sat after us got their drinks and their salad and we are still waiting for a server. After waiting for an hour and four minutes (1hr and 4 min) for my pasta to come I had to go to the reception desk where four associates are just talking and standing around while they could have helped so we didn't have to wait for an HOUR for a plate of pasta. Then our dinner finally came IN A TO GO BOX! The server assumed that due to the long wait that were are just going to take our food home. During this duration of time waiting, our server had blamed the cook for getting our orders late, blamed the manager for getting our orders wrong, blamed the other server with an Italian style mustache, who is by the way not knowledgeable of the food because he is not a cook but only a server as he told us. Over all our experience was unsatisfactory and below standard of hospitality services. Did I mention that they had to remake my wife's food 3 times because each time her order was wrong.! This is not our first bad experience at this location. I would like to talk to corporate or the restaurants district/ area manager for regarding this restaurant's...
Read moreSaturday before Mothers Day, to start off with our waitress took our drink orders, my daughter ordered a frozen coffee type drink and I read on the menu to ask server for local beers and theyre availability, so I asked hoping they served anything from COOP aleworks, she was confused and went to consult with the bartender ( which she never did) we were sitting in bar area 5 feet from bartender, she never consulted with him about anything, returned 5 minutes later only to tell me that they dont have any local beer, she didnt offer anything else exept water ( well, I came to have a few beers not water) so we continued to order our meal, appetizers and meals. 15 minutes later waitress returns and said that one of our appetizers is not available, we say ok and she takes off without offering any other appetizers in its place. Keep in mind that at this point we still dont have our breadsticks or salad, and im sipping water instead of beer, and my daughters frozen coffee drink arrived at the table, exept that is is a hot coffee instead of the frozen one she ordered, she sends it back to get the correct drink, meanwhile here comes our appetizer, the spinach dip, then within 15 seconds, here comes our meals we ordered and the salads and breadsticks, Why do I even need the appetizer now? I have my main course!!!! We finally call over a manager, he instantly gets the correct drink for my daughter and some salad, breadsticks and refills our other drinks, he comps the frozen coffee for us and our appetizer since it came out same time as our meal. So kudos to the manager for trying to save our experience but it was too late. We should have went to S&B Burgers across the street once. They have wonderfull waistaff over there. I wont be back at Olive Garden for...
Read moreYesterday my boyfriend, our 8 month old son and I went to this Olive Garden. The hostess seated us in the middle of a busy dining room. When I asked if we could have a booth she said that my baby wouldn’t be accommodated in a booth so we sat down. 2 tables that got seated after us got taken care of first which I thought was rude. After sitting there for about 6 minutes we moved ourselves to a booth because i didn’t like the table in the middle of the dining room and I just didn’t like how close so many people were to my 8 month old (corona is still a thing)
It took quite a while for our server to finally greet us. She didn’t give us silverware or anything. Took our drink orders. Came back with our water and bottled beers about 8 minutes later then just walked away. I was assuming she was getting the complimentary breadsticks and salad that so many love Olive Garden for, She wasn’t. She came back to take our orders and I asked for the salad and breadsticks.
The service was pretty good after that point I don’t have much to complain about. But I was just very disappointed with the atmosphere in general. From the boujee hostess to the slow waitress, to not seeing a manager the whole meal. Me and my boyfriend were extremely disappointed. I got the $18 Asiago tortellini and it wasn’t anything special at all. Pretty much tasted like cheese dipped in alive oil with noodles. Heart broken because I thought Olive Garden was good atmosphere, good food, and good service. But I paid $50 for a meal that didn’t provide us with any of those things.
I suggest new management ASAP there’s still hope for you guys. I’ll probably go to the northwest expressway location next time cause of my below...
