Twin Peaks — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

For my last night in Oklahoma, I wanted to find a good, local place. Part of choosing a place involves looking at the menu ahead of time, too. Did I just read bacon for an appetizer? I'll write that again. BACON as an appetizer! Remember when Logans roadhouse had bacon as a appetizer? Well when they did, I ordered it then a month later the country shut down for covid. I apologize in advance if we get shut down again. I had to try the billionaire bacon.

Grace was my server. Super friendly, personable, and chatty. As a single diner, I typically get ignored at 95% of restaurants, so my reviews are strictly about food and a little about service.

Grace kept coming back and actually talking. Dude, can I take her back to Michigan and be my full time server in restaurants? A true gem of the twin peaks restaurant.

Now, the food. The bacon was banging. I throughly enjoyed it. The main dish. Warning, if you're a vampire, DON'T get the garlic potatoes. You will die. They are very generous with the garlic! I feel sorry for those on the flight with me tomorrow. If you flew from Oklahoma city to chicago on oct 13 on united, I'm so sorry for the farts! Blame twin peaks restaurant. The ribs, I didn't care for. They were super tough. The full rack was a good portion and if you don't mind the toughness, its well worth it. I ended with a brownie sundae. Yummy! The manager did stop by, and i mentioned the ribs so he took some money off. But i wasnt here looking for free food.

I joked with them because i was in a corner room by myself for most of the visit though. Its like they were hiding me. Not true, but most people left after the Ok state game, so the room was empty.

All in all, I'd return and try something else. I can only hope I get Grace as my server again. Servers that don't ignore single diners...

I’m not gonna lie, my family had a long day and we just wanted to go somewhere to eat. I have no judgment towards anyone ever for going here. However, I have two small children and a husband. So, I had looked on Google maps for a restaurant nearby and saw this option, and so we decided to go. My issue isn’t with anything here, however, I just typically wouldn’t bring my young family to this restaurant. With that being said, the waitress I think knew that we hadn’t been here before, so she asked. And when we said no, she actually went out of her way to be really polite. She, obviously, was very talkative with all the other tables there that night, but she did let us eat our food and Wasn’t coming over and speaking to my husband all that much. Which I just genuinely appreciated. She waited until my husband had gone back to the truck with my daughter while my husband and myself and my son finished up. At which point, she did talk with my son a lot, who absolutely was mesmerized by her. For reference, my son is 18 months old and has now expressed his great love for beautiful ladies. I would give this restaurant a 10 out of 10. But just be careful if you are not into a country version of Hooters, maybe you want to avoid this restaurant. The food was absolutely phenomenal and I definitely would have a girls night with all my friends here. And the waitresses are genuinely so kind and helpful throughout the entire experience.
