SureStay by Best Western Oklahoma City West — Hotel in Oklahoma City

I took the effort to retype this from booking.com so enjoy. Keep in my my reservation was prebooked and confirmed.

I showed up for my reservation. It says nothing on the website about having to 21 and doesnt ask for a DOB to confirm age. My fianceé and I show up. Receptionist cant give me my room because Im only 20. I ask if we can just redo our reservation with my fianceé's ID (He's 21), he says yes. We step aside to do that. Two older gentlemen come in and try to check in for their reservation, something causes them to believe they were scammed by another receptionist over the phone so they begin to get upset and argumentative. The receptionist pauses the men's conversation and looks at us and points, "I cant give you two a room." And I ask, "Huh? You JUST said we could rebook." He replies, "I cant give you a room. We're full." My fianceé and I are in disbelief but we just leave. One of those rooms was reserved FOR US. Did he book it in a matter of two minutes or did he just send us on our way to appease this two angry gentlemen by giving them our room? Or maybe they just overbooked on purpose? Terrible management. Terrible treatment. And I better not be billed a cancelation fee considering this wasn't an error on my part. Will not recommend. Will...

I stayed here with a friend and the service was horrible. I guess the male clerk had a crush on the young lady i was there with so when she was not around he gave me a hard time. I had to try the room key atleast 10x before gaining entry and as im putting things in the truck, i prop the door open but the wind closes it and the key isn't working so between the female and male clerk attempt to reprogram the key (allegedly) 3 separate times to see if it works and of course it doesn't but once the guy finds out what room im in and who im with says he give me entry into the room because they never added me even though I've already been there 24 hours and seen me multiple times and verifiedthe name of renter. Also as im listening to a Bluetooth speaker outside the room door around noon which isn't even loud and they threatened to ask me to leave. I would not recommend unless you have absolutely no...

This is a hard one to rate. On the one hand, it is an extremely rundown looking building in a very shady location that actually had me so concerned that I brought in everything that was in the car to my room because It looked like the perfect place to get robbed in the middle of the night. But on the other hand, once I got in the room, it was actually very nicely updated, clean, with a very comfortable bed and a very good bathroom and shower. Additionally, the rate that I paid which was in the low 40s can’t be beat. The best breakfast was pretty abysmal - a few miniature muffins, some yogurt, and some make your own packets of oatmeal was all of the food available. So I suppose considering the price and how well I slept stacked against how scary the area is and rundown the exterior is, I suppose I’ll give this place an overall rating of average. But I don’t think I would ever stay at this...
