My husband and I went to WH for our date night dinner, last night. My husband has been to at least 1 WH in 4 different states. I've been to at least 1 in 6 different states. We've both been to every WH in OKC and now both WH in Yukon. However, we both said last night, that THIS WH is by far the absolute BEST ONE WE'VE EVER BEEN TO. I always get the same thing, every time I go to any WH. The 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast. I get scrambled eggs with cheese and double hash browns. Normally the eggs are slightly undercooked (wet on the bottom of the eggs) and the hash browns are either crunchy all the way through or kinda soft on top and soggy in the middle. Then, the bacon is either too crunchy or floppy and soft. HOWEVER, none of these were an issue at this WH. The eggs were done all the way thru, the cheese wasn't burnt (the reason they're always slightly undercooked is bc the cook is worried about burning the cheese if they cook the egg "too long"), the bacon was perfect. Not to crisp but not to soft either. The hash browns were on freaking point. They had the perfect crunch on top and perfectly soft in the middle. But not soggy. We ended up tipping the cook separately from our server. They were both tipped $5 each on a bill that was less than $25... So not go to any other WH until you've been to this location. You won't be sorry and your stomach AND FAMILY...
Read moreThe staff was very friendly and courteous, we ordered the all star breakfast, my kid wanted chocolate chip waffle but the cook didn't actually add the chips to the batter just threw them on top after the waffle had been cooked and it was still raw in the middle, same thing with the scattered hash browns with onions and jalapeños they were just thrown on the top of the hash browns, my waffle actually came out as a broken waffle pocket, it was the 2 sides of the waffle just lying on each other, the bacon was raw as well as the sausage patties in the center, the country ham was gray with an odd taste, and sadly my hash browns were not fully cooked and had a cold mush middle, the server asked if I wanted the waffle and I was like no thank you and let her take it, she could see we didn't eat those meals because we just pushed them off to the side, we did let the cashier know that the whole meal was terrible, the morning shift cooks arrived while we were eating and I made sure to let her know that it wasn't them that cooked the food, (the food they were sending out looked right) I think either the night cook needs retrained or trained to cook or he was close to the end of his shift and didn't even try, but it's waffle house and sometimes you get good staff,...
Read moreEverywhere I go that has a Waffle House , I have to go at least once for breakfast. Unfortunately we don't have them in Las Vegas. My son , daughter in law , and I made a stop here for brunch and tried not to eat too much since we were going to Cattlemen's Steakhouse for dinner that night and wanted to make sure we saved room for dinner. I go to Waffle House every time I visit the Carolinas every year or two.
I usually get the All American , but this time I did the Ham and Egg Sandwich with a side of Grits. I love the Grits and they were great as always. The Ham and Egg Sandwich is okay , but I probably wouldn't get it again. My son got the Eggs Over Easy , Hashbrowns with Cheese , Toast , and a Delmonico Steak. He liked everything. I tried the Steak and didn't much care for it. My daughter in law got the Sausage Egg and Cheese Hashbrown Melt. It was okay also. We got one Waffle to share and it was perfect as always.
The customer service was friendly as always. We love Waffle House and will continue to hit them up whatever...
