Poor customer service.

I, my fiancee and soon to be family were out yesterday evening looking for a place to eat. We came across a place with great reviews and were looking forward to eating there.

After working in retail management for 10 years, I must say I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of hospitality of the young lady that served us that evening.

That said she did the right thing by carding me. Sure I may be 28 years old, but I appear young and you must protect your alcohol license. She asked one by one what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, she abruptly said, "Excuse me." And demanded my ID. No "May I see." "Can I see" or anything of the sort. Even a "Sure, let me see your ID." Would have done just fine. Instead she gave me a look, took a rude tone and demanded my ID instead of asking.

I politely presented my ID right away and thought that would be the end of it. It continued.

When it came to me, my brother in law and I noticed she was very reserved. How she spoke to me compared to everyone else at the table was a night and day difference.

We heard plenty of courteous, kind words, in a nice pleasant tone, loud and clear towards everyone at the table minus myself. I maybe got an excuse me seconds after our waitress reached over where I was trying to eat. This happened more times than I can count. Not a single word of warning or anything to let me know she needed to grab a plate, glass or utensil. I felt she only said excuse me moments after because she had to.

The food and and drinks were great, however poor customer service is unacceptable. My fiancee and I will never visit this...

Okay, my experience in chillito restaurant on Ontario on 4th street, it was really, really bad. The owner was really bad and what really got to me is when I saw my bill. I noticed that they are extra charging you, if you want a burrito, they they will charge you $2.50 more if you want it, with I mean and then I got enchilada and chilla shredded beef and then they charge you for Mexican style enchilada $2 plus and then I got my mom enchiladas too. And they charge it for the sauce too as well. So II believe that this is like ripping off people. When you don't notice you your bill, you don't notice it, so the owner, the owner of the place. It was really rude, really bad has no manners has not even I don't even know if he knows what it is to be an owner of a place so I've been going there for about 6 years and the experience that I had was horrible with him, he didn't apologize or anything and I. Just want the customers to know that please look at your check because they are overcharging you on things that you don't even know and and then you end up paying more dollars. I mean, I ended up spending $70 on a meal that in other restaurants I even have a Margarita, even have. A cocktail and it's not even like that, so, but mainly the owner, it is a very bad unprofessional person. The waiter that served me was really nice really good, but I can tell that. For there can be afraid of that jerk.Because he is not a nice man.He really made me feel bad and I don't think I'll be going back there again because the service from him...

I came in with my service Dog to pick up an order for work and I noticed the lady Maria that works there come out of the store and mad dog me. Luckily I walked away at the moment because she came outside to harass me about my Dog. Because right when I walked in the store she immediately told me no dogs allowed when my dog had his red tagged vest. I politely told her he is a service trained dog and Maria said it doesn't matter no dogs allowed get out! I told her she can't to that. Then Maria said show me his paperwork and I told her politely that she is not allowed to ask for any documents. Then she hot upset and told me to get out and I'm not giving your order to you. I then started raising my voice because I'm upset and then the manager comes and de escalated the situation by giving me my order I came to pick up with the contract I had. I don't know where this older girl Maria that works as a server and a table cleaner thinks she has the right to talk to any guest that enters the store the way she did to me. She acted like the store was hers and made up rules as she wanted to! I hope she gets fired and they hire new more...

The salsa is watery buuut, addictive. The chunks of tomatoes and the whip of chili makes this a top pick. I was there on Saturday for lunch ANNND Sunday for breakfast. On Saturday, I had a beef enchilada and an asada taco. The enchilada sauce is a rich and thick colorado sauce that would make any abuelita happy. Perfectly flavored and treated with respect. The asada is straight beef. I like that they don't mess with the spicing too much here, they let the beef speak for itself and it was real nice. For breakfast I did an enchilada montada (an over easy egg on top of a cheese enchilada in red sauce) and again, the sauce was goooooood! The price was right on and the staff super friendly and attentive. They take a lot of pride in this little hide away. The restaurant is VERY clean, the atmosphere is authentic Southern California and the portions are generous. Try the coffé de Oro.

The food was amazing and so was the service. Was greeted with a smile and quickly brought chips and salsa and a menu. After placing my order and finishing the first basket of chips, the waitress offered some more salsa and asked if I’d like to try any other salsas. I asked if they had anything that was very spicy, so she offered to bring me an assortment of their different salsas to try. Was given four different salsas with an explanation of each one, they definitely have a VERY spicy one btw, but they all had very good flavor. The fajitas and mango margarita were delicious! Topped it all off with an amazing piece of flan! Will definitely be back here next time I’m in the area!
