We have stayed here before in 2018. I didn't get to review it then. There were swans here at that time. It wasn't a bad stay. I just never got a chance to review it. The outside was a little bit sketchy then. The room was fine as I recalled so this time we decided to try it again. We rented a car so we were able to drive up, park and check in and it seemed nicer this time around. No swans anymore so it look kind of sad that area with a little bit of Koi fish and kind of green. Other than that. The lobby is still really pretty. I love how Embassy suites has a happy hour at 5:30 so we were able to go down get some drinks, cheese and crackers to fill up before dinner. Our room is the standard same suite room little dark but spacious. It might even be the same room we stayed at before. Love really love Embassy suites for the size and the accommodations. It was a nice stay. Things were clean, fridge pull out, showerhead water was a little slow, but it was fine in the room, had everything we needed. The beds were soft and comfortable. AC was quiet and fine.. The view was meh but the bedroom had the view of the university track and field so that was kind of cool. I like how this hotel is away the strip, but it's not in the best area, but it's not the worst cause we have stayed in other areas as well. But I do like this hotel, especially only if you have a car because last time, it was a bit of a nuisance. We have to get the shuttle and stuff and from the airport bus we were dropped off far away so we had to walk to the hotel and that didn't seem safe so maybe that's why it wasn't as great experience last time, but this time with our own rental car we were able to drive out, venture out, explore the outskirts outside of Las Vegas strip eat around there and not have to think that we have to be on the strip yet since we are changing hotels the next day to stay on the strip so this was a good choice. We look forward to the breakfast always cause we don't stay at Embassy suites much anymore since there's not many of them and a lot of them are very outdated and old, but we had breakfast this time and the lines weren't bad. They made a good breakfast. The omelette was really greasy unless you asked for egg whites only, other than that, they had hashbrowns and sausages and bacon with it so it was a very filling breakfast. I like the breakfast bar too! it had everything you wanted from muffins and toast and oatmeal, all sorts of juices and hot items like scrambled eggs and pancakes so everything was there it was great. It was a great breakfast selection. People are nice. Check in was quick. The lady who cleaned up the food area was nice. I like to see that Elvis was still there. It was there a 2018. It's still there standing there. Maybe a minor complaint is the elevators. Both of them are pretty backlogged especially during checkout time but what can you do? You can use the stairs. All in all not a bad stay not a bad option if you wanna avoid the strip and the casinos and stuff. I think this is one of the better embassy suites actually that we've stayed. There are some that are not as good but this one...
Read moreBEWARE!!!! Overall I only gave the unit a 3 on service due to Day the bartender, he was a superstar and Pamela for trying to provide service. Nick I think it is that works days (red headed gentleman who works the front) is a condescending and arrogant person. My wife and i stayed at this location from 3-6 of august 2024. My first problem was on the way over. About a month and a half before I left to head to Vegas, I had called to modify my reservation, I was supposed to come in on Sunday originally, however, I came in a day early. I asked if the government rate was available for Saturday as well that day due to coming in a day early. I was told yes. Only to find out the day I was headed in between my flights to Vegas that it wasn’t. I was told it would be almost double to stay that day. I ended up having it lowered down to 190 dolllars. Still 70 dollars more than what I had agreed upon. Then on Sunday (day 2) all of a sudden without any construction warnings, they were drilling on the room next to me. I called down to the office. Pamela, the manager said she was calling maintenance, they stopped for about half an hour. Then it started back up. I walked down there and asked why and how much time til they were done. The red headed gentleman named nick I think was rude and said he could move me to another room when I asked if it was gonna be a few minutes or a while. He said he couldn’t ask maintenance. So I was forced to move another room for asking a question ( mind you I was asking because my wife suffers from vertigo and was having a severe episode.). I hope no one has to ever deal with nick ever again. Such a rude individual. I travel a ton for work and even come to Vegas a lot. I will never stay at this location again even if they begged me. This is the worst property Hilton has to offer in all of Las Vegas. They will claim a price then try to get more money if they feel like they can and then rude if you have an issue. I didn’t even say in here about how the new room, the toilet wouldn’t stop running, the fart fan wouldn’t turn off even when you turn the light switch off, and the room view I got was way worse than the original room, also there was enough shampoo in the new room for one shower. But don’t worry nick will be rude to you if he can. If you like sub par presentation and customer service when the manager is away choose this place if not...
Read moreI stayed at the Embassy Suites Las Vegas (4315 University Center Dr) on Feb 1 and 2, 2025. The location is very convenient, close to the airport and strip, and there is a large CVS on the corner along with low-to-high priced eateries in the same strip mall. This came in especially handy as my second night’s stay was due to my flight being cancelled and I was able to buy a cute t-shirt at CVS for $9.99 so I’d have at least one clean item of clothing the next day. ||||Breakfast is served M-F 6:30-9:00 and Sat/Sun 7:00-10:00 and included made-to-order omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, fried potatoes, oatmeal, dry cereal, different breads for toasting, bagels, donuts, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and probably a few other things I don’t recall now. ||||The evening reception / happy hour is nightly from 5:30 – 7; certain types of beer, wine, liquor, and snacks are available at no cost. The second night the snacks included three types of cheese, crackers, tortilla chips, and salsa (I barely made it in time the first night, but looking at the crumbs they had goldfish crackers and Chex mix).||||The biggest compliment I can give is to the staff – everyone I encountered was everything you want hotel staff to be and more. Front desk staffers Abby and Katerina were especially helpful. Abby was very personable, informative, and helped me get a cab. Katerina was very helpful and kind, going so far as to offer me her personal creamer when we couldn’t find extra in the sundries shop (it was about 3am so breakfast wasn’t set up yet).||||Check-in was fast and my room was clean with plenty of towels, washcloths, and an extra blanket and pillow in the closet.||||A few negatives: There was no hot water in my shower on Feb 1 (there was hot water at the sink so at least my washcloth bath was warm). There was also no internet connection in the business office. A few hours later the manager was able to quickly fix it as she had unplugged the internet cables earlier that evening after catching kids watching porn.||||Overall, I was satisfied with my stay – I took away a star for the lack of hot water...
