Overall I wouldn't say I was completely dis-satisified with the room, because it was a place to sleep behind a locked door, but we also didn't leave there wanting to come back. There's barely any amenities - the shampoo and conditioner is combined in one packet (that you would get in a promo-type bag), not a bottle....a packet, so it's barely enough for one person. There really wasn't much beyond the TV and the bed. My husband complained that he felt he was getting bit all night by something (I didn't have that issue), but he was itchy when we left.....and we shared the same bed, so take that for what it's worth. The front desk guy could have also been friendlier. He was very matter of fact and just wasn't all that talkative. We didn't get up in time for breakfast so I can't speak to that, but I did view the breakfast area and it was extremely minimal. There were only 3-4 tables to sit at and only 1 counter that could hold food, so I can't imagine there was much. Overall, it was fine.....I just really wasn't impressed. Also, I think the rates are much higher than it should be for a...
Read moreIf you value your safety, and don't want to experience the most humiliating experience of your life ......Stay away ! ||My daughter was stranded in Paul's Valley . We put her in the hotel to keep her safe until we arrived to get her . The Owner/Manager began knocking on her door at 9am reminding her check out was at 11am . She asked to stay through another day, and was told the hotel was booked . I called immediately , and was told there were rooms available. He came back at 10:45 and told her to leave . She was told to sit on the corner with her belongings in 100+ heat and wait . She asked for a cup of water , and was told no . She asked to sit in the shade , and has told no ! Who does this to another Human Being ? My daughter was alone, quiet , and tired . We paid for her room, and would continue to pay until we reached her . I'm appalled that anyone in the Hospitality Industry would do this to anyone . I wish I could give negative stars , but that's not an option...
Read moreFor a several years now this had been a go-to hotel for me when i was in the area, usually for one week every year. I always travel on a tight budget and the price was right. The restaurant next door is the best part. The hotel is a good place for the price and last time i was there they were remodeling. This hotel had friendly staff and everything was good enough. I never encountered bugs or anything like that and it was as to be expected for the low rates. This year however, i am bringing my dog with me. Although the hotel is marketed as pet friendly, when i called they told me they would not allow my medium sized dog. This was very disappointing to me and i will not stay here again. This hotel is not advertising honestly and it's not a great hotel. I will take my money and my dog to another nearby hotel where we...
