We both ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. We also had an order of fried green tomatoes. My man is from Southern Mississippi, and I also lived there for over a year, and the fried green tomatoes were heavily coated with breading. The flavor was good but they were very heavy. I suggest they go to the deep south and try real fried green tomatoes and improve their breading. The prices were decent for the burgers, but some of their appetizers were way overpriced, same with some menu items. Overall, it was good, but there are other similar restaurants that are better priced on their menu items.

Don't order bacon if you like your teeth. Ordered an omelet. I was first upset that there wasn't any bacon, then when i found a peice, i wished I hadn't. Cracked my tooth. I pride myself on hand strength and grip. I could not break it between my thumb and index pushing as hard as I could - neither could anyone at the table. Insult to injury the owner came out and shrugged and said it's normal, it's crispy bacon, he's been serving it like that for 35 years. He told me he would pay for my tooth so I wouldn't cause anymore attention. But has ignored my phone calls since

The country friend breakfast hit the spot. Hash browns, 2 fried eggs, chicken fried steak with gravy, and 2 pancakes for under $10. My food was definitely what I expected. My girlfriend ordered a salad and turkey sandwich. The salad looked gross and the turkey sandwich was plain white bread with a craft single, iceberg, and that nasty turkey you get 50lbs of at a time. I'll deduct one star because her plate was laughable and I imagine many of the other items are too. BUT stick with breakfast staples and it's a solid diner.

My wife and I ate lunch about 10:45 a.m. it was not busy only a few people we were greeted friendly enough and told to set where ever we liked. The waitress brought us our menus immediately and took our drink order (coffee with cream and suger and water) we got our coffees and water quick enough but no spoons to stir with which wasn't a big deal we just used straws to stir. We then ordered a couple specials which were a meatloaf meal and a gyro and fries. When my wife got her meatloaf her baked potato was cold and my gyro while it was good only had maybe a (and I'm being generous) a dozen fries and still had no silverware we waited a few minutes for the waitress to ask for some silverware which wasn't really a big deal, but i gave 3 stars because for the price we paid I expected better food or at least bigger portions the water also tasted Nasty which is just Pauls Valley water but to us if you're going to serve water in a restaurant it should be filtered and taste better. We're on the same water it's filtered through a refrigerator filter and tastes great. In conclusion the food is not worth the price. $37.00 for a meatloaf special a gyro special 1 order of fried pickles and 2 coffees plus water and i didn't go in the restroom but have in the past and it was filthy probably...

I am going to he brutally honest with everyone and point out the very obvious about this establishment which I have no clue how it is still open or why code enforcement has not shut this place down. My stars are for the waitress who did amazing with what she had to work with.

The second you walk into this place there's an overwhelming smell of mold. I brushed it off thinking okay its a older place but as we walked to our table the smell became even more intense. I really tried my best to not let it get to me and not show that I was concerned not to mention the insane headache I got shortly after walking in but my 11-year-old says mom. Look at the ceilings and the vents. They are molded. Y'all my 11-year-old knew something wasn't right. Seriously they don't pay attention to anything. The ceilings are sagging the walls are disgusting and dirty. I want to say the kitchen did look clean but where the customers eat was down right nasty. I couldn't eat. It grossed me out so much. My child was grossed out. Looking online it says this place opened in 2017 and I think it's safe to say that there has been no maintenance done to keep this place up. It's really sad an I see the potential but it's unsanitary and someone really needs...

The food was good and the service was just OK. One of our two waitresses took our drink orders-two waters, Dr Pepper, sweet tea, and unsweet tea. She came back with the waters, the DP, and the sweet tea. Completely forgot the unsweet tea. That’s fine, no biggie. We asked the second waitress if they serve breakfast all day and she said, “I think so.” Maybe she’s new, but that’s a pretty important thing to know. Also, not a real big deal. Food came out. I had ordered a salad with thousand island dressing and got ranch instead. Again, not a big deal and easily remedied. When we were leaving, there was a lot of commotion happening at the register with the waitresses yelling at each other about being in the way. Then the kicker. A man who appeared to be the owner was our cashier. I pulled out my credit card to pay and he looked at my male companion and said, “whatever happened to the good old days when a man took a lady out and paid for HER lunch “ I was quick to respond that I am the BOSS, and THAT’s why I’m paying for the lunch. Any of these things would. It have bothered me as a single incident, but added together made our lunch an...
