We have called this hotel home multiple times over the last three years. The hotel front desk management is always friendly, knowledgeable, and go over and beyond any expectations in their willingness to kindly and respectfully work with those of us that are employed in legitimate jobs that live paycheck to paycheck. This fact alone is almost unheard of in our material minded world.
The hotel rooms themselves are expertly clean and inviting upon arrival. The housekeeping services are super friendly, outgoing, always smiling, punctual, efficient, and go the extra mile themselves to ensure the guests, be they short term or long term, have everything they need readily available as well as providing the little things that some of us may need but either forgot or simply could not budget.
The interior designs are classical and in complete working order always. The very large beds are always with clean and I do mean clean sheets, blankets, and bedspreads in neutral color schemes, not to bright or flashy, huge and comfortable. Simple elegance that I appreciate. The appliances work perfectly, refrigerator with a top freezer, microwave, coffee pot including coffee packets with cream, sugar, stir sticks, cups, all that one would need for morning and/or evening coffee. Bath essentials include an assortment of soaps, shampoos, and bright white towel sets. Housekeeping perfection at its finest under management that obviously insist on the best.
Television has more than a few channels, never dusty, remotes have batteries and they work.
There are also ample storage in drawers, night stands, and a dressing area that is clean and well lit.
The climate controls are individual guest room controlled, cooling, heating, and a separate fan setting for those of us,such as myself, who arent so young anymore. 😁
Front door parking prevents carrying luggage and what nots up and down stairs. My vehicle has been safe here as well.
All around classic hotel for the budget minded. I have lived in multiple hotels over the years and the Rodeway Inn is the one that I always find myself calling home.
And, last but definitely not least, I have my baby kitty cat that is why I get up everyday. He is my baby and I know without a doubt that he is safe and comfortable here which enables me to focus on my job and not have the sickening stress of worrying if he is ok while I am away at work.
I do and will continue to highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is searching for a home or a home away from home. These men and women maintain high standards in making the Rodeway Inn a respectable and classy hotel with affordability. These guys should be a five star place as they strive daily to make sure that it is managed and maintained...
Read moreThis is our second night and in a totally different room, yet this room actually nastier than the first. We have photo evidence of both rooms and exactly what they looked like upon entering them. Both rooms had huge holes in the walls and ceiling where one was semi patched up amd the rest weren't touched. Both sofa beds were disgusting the first one had a dope baggies folded inside it along with crayons and makeup behind the other bed and clothing behind the nightstand. The second room has old dried crust3d milk or something around the outside of 5he mini fridge and dead crickets everywhere, along with numerous individuals hair, toe nails etc at the head of the bed, . First room was missing the ironing board and iron, second has both but is missing the hair dryer and just has the wall mount here. Second is missing toilet paper holder, first room hair dryer was non working. Both rooms have horrible lighting and the over head light flickers non stop. First was smoking second non smoking. Actually had an ashtray in the room but second room smelled pretty clean but there is an air filter type thing that's endlessly putting a scent off. Owner kept telling the kid upfront to take us out of whatever room the system put us in and stick us in one he said, not sure why because this was at the beginning as we were trying to check in. Also kept giving random pricing from what we were told on the phone, then in person was higher and the second night for non smoking which he stated was the only room open, was even more. Overall, if you're not interested in a clean customer friendly experience and only wanna shower or watch TV n pass out, this place is alright. If you have children or pets or actually prefer a clean nights rest, I'd opt for one of the other places right next door...
Read moreSo the rooms were clean and decent, most of my issues dealt with outside the room. When I showed up to check in the first night at 11pm, the check in guy was extremely rude in my opinion. I realize it was late, but that is the point of of shift work. He only mumbled and he obviously did not care that I was having trouble understanding him, because regardless of how many times I kept asking him to repeat himself he would continue to mumble. He made me feel like we were an inconvenience while checking in. Next, the room he put us in had this large tree cutting truck( see pictires) that never moved the while 4 days we stayed and we were unable to park in any of the spaces near our door. I am not sure if he rents the space for them to park, but like I said the truck did not move once during our entire stay. They keep breakfast out till 9:30 am but if anything runs low, you are just out of luck, they do not replenish anything which sucks if u wanted a waffle and there is no more batter out. This would usually be the case by 8:30 each morning. They do have an ice machine which is free (see pic) in the laundry area. They also have a washer/dryer that...
