Friendly knowledgeable staff & generous delicious Vietnamese sandwiches, noodle salads, desserts & more. My husband always gets the Shaken Beef Bahn Mi Sandwich (#7) - a Vietnamese bun about 12" long with cubed ribeye steak, bell peppers, onions, Asian cole slaw, and sesame dressing. I have liked everything I've tried on the menu. My last visit I had the Grilled Chicken Noodle Salad Bowl. About 1/3 of a large bowl was filled with a cold salad of julienne cucumbers, bean sprouts, cilantro, mint, lettuce, pickled carrots, & daikon radish all topped with sliced green onion & chopped peanuts served with a sweet, but not too sweet, fish sauce. The rest of the bowl had cold (cool) rice vermicelli noodles topped with lots of pieces of warm grilled chicken. I put the fish sauce on some of the noodles because they needed something to perk them up. Utensils are plastic but stronger ones are not needed. Hoisin & soy sauce are available at the self serve drink/condiment area. You place your order at one end of the counter & pick it up at the other end when your number is called. There is a tip jar and I'm sure tips are appreciated. My husband wished they had beer but the non-alcoholic drinks they have are good. I like the Thai Milk Tea which is also known as Thai Ice Tea. You can get it with or without the tapicoca "bubbles". Prices are reasonable. As of Oct 2017, the huge sandwiches are $7, the noodle salads are $8, sides and appetizers are $4, specialty drinks like my Thai Ice tea were $3.50, and desserts range from $3.50 - $6. We are always too full for desserts but they look yummy. Next time I'm going to start...

I don't usually provide reviews, but my positive experience with this restaurant made me put effort.
I first visited Banh Mi Bistro Vietnamese Eatery last weekend with a few friends, and it quickly became one of our new favorite spots. Located just off Bell Rd, this cozy eatery blends a laid-back vibe with an elevated take on comfort food.
Ambiance: Warm and inviting with soft lighting, and a friendly buzz from the open kitchen. It’s perfect for both casual dinners and date nights.
Service: Service was friendly and efficient. My cashier was attentive without being intrusive and gave great recommendations from the menu.
Food: I started with the Chicken Rice Plate - crispy, golden, and addictive. The meat was fork-tender and full of flavor. My friend's Grilled Pork Bahn Mi was also a hit - savory, and perfectly cooked.
Dessert was a strawberry smoothie, (not too sweet but enough sweetness which makes it perfect for me)
Price: Very reasonable for the quality. Portions are generous, and the ingredients feel fresh and thoughtfully sourced.
Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for hearty food with a touch of sophistication, Banh Mi Bistro Vietnamese Eatery. Great food, relaxed setting, and excellent service. I will...
Read moreI have optimistically tried this place 3x in the past 2 years. Absolutely disappointing each time. With such high reviews I felt, "...maybe I'm missing something." Nope.
The main problem, their bread is TERRIBLE. Each time. I've read another review complimenting the bread and scratched my head. I have consistently received hard crunchy baguettes that cut harder than a milkless bowl of Captain Crunch.
If you want perspective, try Mekong sandwiches, on Dobson and Main. Bread is crispy delicious outside warm chewy center. Homemade mayo and quality meats, flavorful pate. Hell, even Lee's sandwiches have a better product. Pho Thanh and Da Vang have would be a better option.
This spot isn't all bad. Vermicelli salad, spring rolls and other appetizers are solid. But for the place calling itself a Banh Mi restaurant, get real.
Pros: Veggies Spring Rolls Side dishes Marinated meats
Cons: Service is in need of serious attitude adjustments Bread ducks wouldn't even eat Nuoc Mam is too sweet (fish sauce...
