We took our 40 foot RV last minute reservation. Myself, my husband and two of our 4 children. It was nice to get away. The old lock and dam was definitely a very neat little gem. Lots of people fishing The play grounds were pretty great. Our children were back and forth to one and the other playing with the other children at the park. Absolutely child friendly park. Tents , campers , RV . It was for all. There were bath houses for those who needed them. The bathrooms weren't amazing but you get what you get. The trails are short and beautiful. The fishing is great. The pavilion is beautiful. The play grounds are well cared for. I will say. There are no grills up on the RV parking area. I guess I misread that every site had a small pavilion. I only say them down front with the tent camping by the river. We had a picnic table and a burn barrel. Which is enough. We may visit again. Pointers- bring fishing poles and bait. Bring something to grill on. Bug spray and sun block ( we found a few ticks on us ) There is a cleaning station for your fish so take advantage! Have fun!!!

We've stayed at Riveredge RV Park multiple times over the past couple of years and I just say, we've always enjoyed our experience. Staff is friendly, bathhouses are new & clean and the pool and splash pad area is always a fun time for the kids! This place has the fastest WiFi that I have ever used at any campground and they don't charge extra for it. They also have basic cable. Their prices are reasonable. You can get a cheaper rate somewhere else but I feel like for the location & amenities it's right on point. My only suggestion would be to add the ability to add in your Good Sam discount when making online reservations like other campgrounds do. We will be back again soon!

Good, clean, level sites. Could be a little wider. The pool, hot tub, and splash pad are great. They were all very well maintained and extremely clean. Fire pits apparently get cleaned after every camper. The pedestals are a little old, and the 30A plugs are getting worn out. 4 stars due to road and overall noise. This is not the place to go if you’re looking to get away from it all. It is very centrally located to the rest of pigeon forge and Gatlinburg, and only about 15 minutes from Dollywood.

My family and I have been staying at Riveredge for several years. We travel with a group of friends and stay at the park occupying several rv sites at a time. Over the years we have enjoyed or stay and appreciated the cleanliness of the facility and the helpfulness of the office staff. However, during a recent trip one of our traveling party experienced a problem with their site and reported to the office. A short time later everyone on the row was experiencing similar issues. My neighbor, myself and the original complaining party walked to the office to report the issue. Ordinarily we would have been met with kindness from one of the ladies in the office but we were not that day. The young man that works behind the desk with the beard blamed us for the problem and was very rude and disrespectful. I attempted to explain that we as a group were not upset that we were simply saying that we all had the same problem which could be helpful to find a fix. He told us there was nothing he could do and ignored our group. We left the office and met the lady that works behind the desk outside. We explained the issue and the rudeness of the employee. Not only did she fix the issue at the site within a couple of minutes but also explained that everyone complained about the guy at the desk. She encouraged us to write the owner and explain to him the problem with that employee. We as a group have each written letters to the owner and everyone we can think of in the Pigeon Forge area that could help correct the problem. If you stay at Riveredge or make reservations just make sure you talk to one of the ladies at the desk, they are most helpful. We our group returns in the fall, we are going to present the young man with a book about being tolerant and kind. If he is still there. ...

After staying at Riveredge, there are many things to note. The cabins were very clean and came with everything one may need during a stay. There was also a system to get fresh towels as needed and the campground was kept clean as well. ||The issue for our stay arose at check-in. The owners made us pay for THEIR mistake. We booked our stay over 4 months in advance. We chose this location because of the price and what amenities were offered in the cabins. Upon arrival when we went to pay the remaining balance we were told that our receipt and confirmation was incorrect and we actually owed almost 9x what we were originally aware of. The employee called both owners to make them aware of the situation and error in their systems and see what could be done. We looked over our receipt and confirmation number and found nothing that showed an error on our part or even appeared as an error. The employee said after calling the owners, they admitted to their system glitch, but wouldn’t honor our receipt. The best they would do is charge us 3x what our original due was. ||We had already purchased tickets online for attractions and activities and had driven over 3 hours for our trip. We payed the increased total and we lost a majority of our spending money because of this. ||While the cabin met all of our needs and our stay was perfect otherwise, we won’t be recommending or staying here again due to the owners making us pay for their system error and not honoring our original confirmation. They also could have reached out to us in between the four months from when we booked our stay to our arrival date to let us know of an issue and make other arrangements or plan...
