I visited this location while me and my fiance were visiting pigeon forge to celebrate our engagement/ my 21st birthday. I decided to order a mimosa since we were visiting for my 21st birthday. I guess there was a issue because they saw my med card issued from Pennsylvania and thought it was a drivers license which doesn’t make a lot of sense as to why they would think that bc it says “patient” in bright red across it. We were very excited to visit here because we don’t have one close to home. When the manager who was blonde and had glasses (didn’t get her name) approached me she was very confident on the fact I had a fake id when I didn’t. She began to read very loudly the date my id was issued while looking back at the card smirking like she was bout to catch me doing something wrong. At this point all the tables near us are staring at me. As someone with extreme social anxiety this made me so uncomfortable to the point I was tearing up ready to cry. If she would of approached me more kindly this wouldn’t have been a issue bc I understand the circumstances of the situation. The reason why I am upset about this is because of the way she was being extremely rude and acting like my id was fake. I then asked to speak to a manager and she gave me another rude face. The manager told me everyone is on edge bc they got in trouble for selling to someone with a fake id… which i understand but as someone who works with the public also i feel that this was all handled very poorly and i should of been approached more kindly because i was doing nothing wrong. Not to mention they forgot part of our order because they were so focused on the fact that they thought my id was fake. Overall we spent so much money on food we didn’t even get to eat because I was so uncomfortable being there because of her. Please teach ur staff to be kinder…the last thing anyone with anxiexty wants is to be embarrassed like...
Read moreWhen we were finally seated we waited at the table for an hour before drink orders were even made. My 3-year-old grandson fell asleep at the table before he ever even had something to drink much less food! It wasn't even half full in there. The staff and the gift shop were awesome! Very friendly and helpful! As a person who is retired from both restaurant and retail management this was completely bad management! We were at our table for 2 hours before getting food! Had we not been a party of eight and on a vacation we would have left! The manager only came to our table after my mother went and retrieved her! With the weight to get seated and the long long wait to get served we spent over 3 hours in that place! The original server that was assigned to us whose name was Caroline or Carolina never showed up to our table. We were then given another server who was very sweet but the wait time was still horrible! Realizing this was all due to poor management the waitress who served us was tipped very well! I was extremely disappointed that not even a discount was offered for our horrible service! The young lady whose name was Heaven that worked the gift shop was awesome! She was very Charming had a very funny sense of humor and was just all around an awesome employee! I frequent Cracker Barrels all over and have never experienced anything like this! Not even when the place is jam packed full! My suggestion to Cracker Barrel is get better management and replace certain...
Read more2 words. DON'T GO!!! I don't even know where to start. Mary the server was unable to help us with choices and to answer questions because it was a new menu. What? When food was brought, the tray was tipped and plates were sliding off. I was taking the plates off of the tray and setting them in front of appropriate person. Thank goodness the fried pickles were awesome because the Broccoli cheese rice premium side was an extra charge, super small and burnt. Asked if we could swap the burnt premium side for baked potato. Sure, no problem. Didn't get the potato until we were leaving. Never got a refill on waters, asked several times. She said she was working on getting our potato. For 20 minutes, ok, so...where's the potato and I still don't have my refill. My sister went and found Mary to get the water refilled and she said she would bring it out. Here's the glass, can you pour it in? She never came out to refill. Charged for the burnt premium side. Asked for them to take it off and then charged for the wrong meal. Omg!! Make the nightmare stop. Paid for 1 of the meals with a gift card and was told there was no balance left on card. Um....wrong....try again. Then, at the very beginning, we asked for separate checks and she put them all on one. There's more...
