Casa Rosa Inn — Hotel in Port Isabel

We want to give a HUGE thank you to Estrella!!! (Star, in English) She was so kind and helpful, she was able to get us bay fishing tickets with Breakaway Cruises at the very last minute even though there were no more tickets available when we asked. It only took her about 15-20 minutes to give me a call and tell me that she was able to get three tickets for us for the very next day. I was blown away and so, so grateful!! It was something we weren't sure we'd be able to do ahead of time due to my fiancee getting injured, but she was feeling better once our trip started and we were worried that we had missed our chance. It honestly made our whole trip so much better and we even took another charter the next day because it was so much fun. If it hadn't been for Estrella, we might not have been able to go at all. Thank you so much!!!

We were very pleased with our choice of hotel, mostly for the amazing customer service, but also for the convenient location and spacious room. The bed was very comfortable and there were two fridges and a microwave which was awesome because we like to save money by packing food to bring with us. The pool was beautiful and I wish we had found time to get in, the waterfall was so inviting every time I heard it running. My only feedback would be that the bathrooms could've used a bit of TLC, my mom's bathroom had a flickering light that was pretty headache-inducing, and our tub felt like it might crack under our feet which had us worried about possibly causing damage to the room. Luckily nothing happened, but we also tried not to use the shower as much as we wanted to because of that. All in all, I definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again! We're coming back in a few months and I hope we can book our stay at the Casa Rosa again.

I had a disappointing experience at this motel due to their inadequate lost and found system. Despite their claims of keeping records and labeling missing items from rooms, I found their system to be severely lacking. Not only did they fail to locate an item I misplaced during my stay, but the lack of professionalism in handling such situations was evident. What's worse is their unwillingness to take responsibility for items of greater value lost in hotel rooms, which is unacceptable. I would not recommend this motel to anyone seeking reliable service and accountability. The fact that the police were involved and a report was made only highlights the severity of the situation. However, it's deeply concerning that despite this involvement, the motel staff still disregarded the significant cost of the loss. It's unacceptable for them to neglect their responsibility in such cases, especially when the involvement of law enforcement underscores the seriousness of the matter. This lack of accountability and empathy towards guests' losses further emphasizes the motel's unprofessionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction. It’s unfortunate that such a lesson had to be learned the hard way. It's a stark reminder to always keep belongings stowed away safely, especially in environments where security measures might not be up to par. It's a shame that the motel failed to provide a secure environment for guests, but it's a valuable lesson for future travels to exercise caution...

I have always rented at casa Rosa when I go South Padre Island because it used to always be clean and affordable.This last time I rented I was so disappointed! I rented that room in the morning on booking and didn’t get to the hotel to get the room till around 7, we had not laid on the bed yet because we went to go get in the pool and then we went to the store. Around 12:00 Am when we were going to do to sleep I laid down on the bed to sleep I smelled a urine odor so I was like how if the sheets looked really neat and clean. So I pulled off the sheets and all the bed sheets on the bottom and the protector were peed! It was dry pee and the sheet also had hairs! The house keeping just put clean comforters but did not bother to change the peed one! I was so mad I went to the front office to tell them I need assistance with my room and the guy that was in the speaker said that it was 12:00Am and I was bearly going to tell them about that issue since I rented the room talking to me like if it was my problem the sheets were dirty! He said that they would check it out the next day that it was late already. I was literally expecting them to assist me or at least give me another room and no he said till the next day they would help me. Never never again will I rent a room there.
