The economy queen room is certainly…economy. Most of the room is taken by the bed. The mini fridge is outside the room and shared with the other economy room. And not that I needed to use it, but just be aware that the TV in this room is real small, maybe the size of a large computer monitor. I’m a short guy so it wasn’t a huge issue, but I can definitely see how this room might be cramped for a couple or someone taller. But you can’t beat the convenience of the Mercury. It’s on a quiet side street right off of Commercial St. so you can participate in as much or as little of the nightlife. There’s six free first come first serve parking spots out front. Gorgeous view off the rooftop deck on the third floor. Quiet back patio with couches and tables. Free ice machine and coffee machine on the first floor. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of great recommendations. If they didn’t know, they’d ask/call around to find out for you. I arrived late in the evening and they reached out to me via call and text to make sure I’d be able to check in on my own/get access to my room.

Cute little boutique hotel near the commerce street. Great location. I love the ambience and decoration of the public lounge area and back patio. They provide coupons for a nearby coffee shop. Check-in process is also very smooth and easy to follow. However, I’m a bit surprised by the small space in my room. We booked the economy room, which share a bathroom with other guests. In additions, the slanted ceiling make it hard for us to utilize the tiny space. I’m 5’4 but constantly hit my head on the ceiling. The AC unit works fine, but it’s located right next to the bed headboard, so the wind blow directly to our heads. Lastly, wifi didn’t work in half of the room(the street side has no reception). Overall, we enjoy our stay here, but with the amount we paid, I would expect more details to be attended to provide customer a better experience.

While the Mercury Hotel benefits from a central location and a friendly host, our stay left much to be desired. We were in Room #3 and immediately noticed hygiene issues—there was a strand of hair sitting right on top of the conditioner box, and some of the towels provided were clearly not clean. The room itself was uncomfortably hot, and the fan provided made loud, disruptive noises, making it difficult to relax. Hot water was another issue—it took a frustratingly long time to come on, and figuring out the system was far from intuitive. On the plus side, the lounge area is nicely done, and we appreciated the coffee vouchers. Unfortunately, the overall lack of cleanliness and comfort overshadowed the positives for us. For the price and location, we expected more attention to detail.

Room was super cozy and stylish. I really appreciated the toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, makeup remover wipes, and mouthwash. I always appreciate when the free shampoo isn't like cheap detergent that dries your hair to death. Everything smelled nice, too. For a continental breakfast, this place was pretty good. Fresh fruit, cups of Greek yogurt, pretty tasty muffins, etc. Location is great, right off the main street so it's a bit quieter, but still a quick stroll away from plenty of restaurants, etc. They also have a bike rack on the property, which is much appreciated as I'm always a little worried leaving my bike on the street. They also have a piano that guests are allowed to play until 10pm or 11pm (I can't remember which). And a hot tub, which I didn't try to make use of because the weather was cold as the Dickens. Speaking of the cold - both the room and the bathroom had separate thermostats. They were sleek, digital ones but super easy to use. Room took a little while to warm up, but it's autumn so the owners seem to keep the heat off completely in between guests. It was super cozy once the room warmed up though. I would totally stay here again in...

We had an amazing stay at the Mercury Hotel. After 15+ years of visiting Provincetown, I can honestly say this was the best mattress I’ve ever had in any hotel or rental—pillows too! So comfortable and restful.||||The little touches made it feel truly luxurious: always plenty of fresh towels, cold water and coffee available throughout the day, and a cozy, welcoming lobby that we actually enjoyed hanging out in.||||A big shoutout to Todd, who greeted us with a huge smile and kept our room spotless every day. His warmth, attention to detail, and hard work really stood out—he’s a gem and deserves recognition.||||Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, always happy to accommodate. Our room was well-equipped and super comfortable for our weeklong stay.||||Only minor complaint: I emailed the property twice using the email address provided on their website and never got a response. Not a dealbreaker, but when I’m traveling (especially mid-flight), email is often the easiest way for me to reach out with quick questions. That was the only hiccup in an otherwise perfect stay.||||Highly recommend this hotel and absolutely plan to...
