Was disappointed from the get go. Waited at the hostess stand while the hostess was on the phone. A man walked up behind me as soon as she got off the phone and tried to get a table for his group. Rather than address me, the hostess listened to him first until I made a noise. Only then I was addressed and she asked if I was a part of their group. I had already been waiting there for a solid minute before they walked up. I get you’re on the phone but she knew I had been standing there waiting first. I got sat at the bar as a solo which is totally fine and I expected and hoped. It turned to be one of the loneliest experiences I’ve had! The bartenders didn’t make an effort to be welcoming until after I finished my first drink and everyone else from the bar had left. I ordered one burger and they placed a different one in front of me. I ordered a side of aioli and it cost an extra $2. I thought it’d be a small extra charge but I thought $2 was a lot and I didn’t see it mentioned on the menu. Maybe I missed it but I don’t think so! As for the burger I got the frenchie burger and found it bland. I didn’t enjoy my drink but that was my fault. I should’ve ordered something more my normal speed than being brave. Overall wasn’t impressed with the service from start to finish and wasn’t impressed with my burger as much as I thought I would be. Disappointed. I wanted to find a good spot to keep coming back to...

Not good at all. Wait staff was very rude. Both my wife and I were served regular burgers when we ordered Kobe burgers (I wasn't born yesterday, I can tell the difference). And since I came at the end of September, apparently it was end of season so they had limited drink and food selection (why stay open if 90% of your menu is off limits!).

By and far, the worst part was the rude server. When we sent back a drink for having flat tonic water, we could hear the bartender complaining and the waiter acting inconvenienced by having to re-do it. Also, the server never came by the check on us after getting our order (the runner brought the food out). The server never checked to notice our burgers we cooked wrong, or to find out we weren't given Kobe burgers. Then, when I asked for the check, she was all too happy to expedite the process. The place...

We ate on the patio on a Sunday night. The food was delicious, particularly the pork tostada and burger. The steak frites was very fatty and not great, so that one was a miss. Drinks were mixed correctly and the service was great. My only complaint was that we were seated next to a table with 2 VERY overserved men and a woman trying to mother them into behaving. I would say this isn’t the fault of the restaurant, but the staff kept giving the men more drinks even though they were literally falling over trying to stand up, kicked a chair into us bc they didn’t need a 4th chair, and one seemed genuinely like he was about to puke. It seemed like this experience was the exception to the rule, but noting it here in hopes that management will train staff to responsibly cut off those...

Ate lunch here twice and LOVED the Bird turkey burger each time. The best turkey burger ever! It has beautifully griddled mushrooms and a quite tasty rosemary aioli. Plus here they also griddle toast the buns - more difficult to accomplish perfectly than you think - and they are heavenly. Sub out the onion strings and you’ll thank me. The El Guapo burger with fried avocado is equally dahlicious! I have the feeling all of their menu is excellent. Friendly servers, too.

My duck confit was pretty much flawless, and my partner says the burger was average. Service was standard... we would not have eaten here if we knew how loud a particular set of guests was about to be through half our time here. Like literally yelling and screaming - no signs of drunkenness just purely obnoxious humans. The inside seems to insulate sound so it was louder in here than you'd imagine. Hoping if we visit again that we can have a quieter experience.

Want the juiciest burger in town? This is the place! Local 186 serves up the best burgers and fries in Ptown—hands down. Everything is cooked to perfection, and the service is always friendly and fast. The vibe is just as great as the food. It’s set in an old home with charming decor that makes it feel cozy and inviting. Whether you’re craving a classic or something creative, Local 186 hits the spot every time. A must-visit!
