Overall, the experience was good. Beautiful event room! However, lots of miscommunication and misunderstandings with sales staff kind of throughout the process. Some of the big things: Was told the room could accommodate 150 seated with my amenities, but it's more like maybe 120 max. How do you get that back... Food is a challenge for most hotels. This one was no different. The mac 'n cheese bites were very good! But sliders were not fully cooked, and cheese was added to pasta salad. :-( Rooms were pretty decent. Breakfast staff member left a bad taste in our mouth. Location is tough to navigate, and not a lot of eating or shopping around, but they can not control that. If I did another event there, I would know what to look for, correct, and ensure all talk is in writing. It's not a bad place at all. Date of stay: April 26-27, 2025 Room Tip: I see the rate is $110 on this site, but our party of 150 people had a rate of $139 w breakfast. Trip type: Traveled with family and friends for large celebration party!

Not Safe – Major Security Concerns We recently stayed here while traveling to Florida and unfortunately did not feel safe during our visit. There were signs posted stating: “PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK. REMOVE ALL VALUABLES FROM VEHICLE. OWNER AND MANAGEMENT HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE.” Another guest told us that previous visitors had experienced break-ins and theft from their vehicles, and some were still dealing with the consequences. What made things worse was that there were no security cameras anywhere on the property — not outside the building, inside the hallways, or even in the pool area. We had our travel belongings in our car, and my husband felt so uneasy about the lack of security that he seriously considered sleeping in the vehicle overnight to protect our things. This was an extremely stressful experience. If you’re traveling with valuables or simply want peace of mind, I do not recommend staying here. The staff is very nice!!

Overall - Had a great experience! There were many Pros and a couple cons. Let’s talk about em! Pros: - Well updated with nice finishes, modern colors, and technology. The rooms had digital keys accessible in the Hilton app. - The Doubletree cookie was incredible! That was a first for us. We will keep this in mind for future stays. As always for Hilton members, they had free water bottles for the entire stay. - Loved the linear drain in the shower and the size of the bathroom. - The bed and pillows were very comfortable! - Breakfast was delicious both days! They had many options and the taste was great! Cons - Bathroom had a tile falling off the shower curb. - Biggest negative - the wall mounted hvac system didn’t have an Auto setting for the fan so it was either on Low or High. This caused the room to be very dry…too dry. Had our skin drying out and noses burning.

I book my room late, on Friday 10-27-23. Had no plans on needing a room. But do to an issue at home. I decided I would defuse that issue by simply removing myself from my home and grabbing a room for the night. Hours after I checked in my. Thinking maybe to tomorrow would bring a better light. Home would be better. My room phone rings I don’t pick up cause no one should be calling me right, wrong. My better “half” for lack of a better word. Found me, maybe the confirmation email or her Great stalking abilities. Maybe my car is tracked. We do not have the same name. So imagine my surprise when there was a knock at the door, look out the peek hole, My better”half” the front desk person and a maintenance worker or at the door. Now my better”have I beautiful 5”8 long brown hair bombshell but when she is angry it better to run. Not only did they confirm I was there walked her to my room and they attempted to open the door with there key, I looked up the privacy policy. After they left and could not get in cause kept my hand on the lock. In fear for my safety when the coast was clear I leave Doubletree Midtown. I went to that buddy we all got home. No questions ask. The next day I try to report this but no one knows how to get anyone from customer service, Hilton or the line. FYI I am a 6 foot tall 185 pound black man my better”half she white. Does anyone think if the shoe was on the other foot these great employees would have walked me to her room and tried to open the door for me . So Saturday night cooler head now. She is fine but admitting in her up set sage what she had on her and what she may have done had that door open. We are getting her counseling but I am lucky to be alive. I still would like to talk to someone at Hilton. Look me up That someone I was at the Doubletree Midtown Raleigh North Carolina room 320 on 10-27-2023 all this took place between 9 pm and 10:30pm...

Angela Roddenberry Is the most unprofessional individual I’ve ever encountered in a business setting. It’s clear based upon her unprofessionalism and the condition of the hotel, that she isn’t interested in “managing” anything. I’ve contacted her several times about my experience the night I check in, and she has yet to email me back so that we can resolve the issue. I was moved to a total of 3 rooms because of the plumbing. I even waited in the hall wearing my bed while the maintenance workers attempted to repair the problem that night. I ended up leaving in the middle of the night during a storm because I felt the conditions weren’t safe especially since this happened in the middle the Covid pandemic. It wasn’t until recently when I was scrolling through my phone and found pictures from that night that I was reminded of the disaster and disrespect I faced after I drove nearly 3 hours to get there. My initial thought was to post this to my various social media platforms with my over 483k followers to bring attention to this and help this hotel and Ms. Angela Roddenberry to go viral since my concerns are so unimportant, and maybe I will. I have tried time and time again to reach her; I’ve called in, I’ve emailed, and I’ve saved every correspondence while trying to reach her including people I spoke with attempting to contact her via telephone w/times, dates and screenshots. Angela seems to either not think much of the customer who keep this place in business, or her superior whom she’ll have to answer to if they start receiving an influx of phone calls wanting to know what’s going on there and why people are treated so poorly. Either way it’s unacceptable. Stay away from this place if you value working plumbing, accountable management, and...

I attended a Flight Instructor Refresher Seminar at the Midtown Double Tree on Saturday and Sunday January the 20 &21st 2024. Since I needed to be there early Saturday morning and would leave Sunday I reserved a room for two nights, Friday and Saturday. I checked in to my room at around 1 am Saturday morning. Staff was very nice and helpful, room was nice and clean so no problem there. My complaint is I was there for two nights but my card was charged for three nights. A $242.26 charge which would be correct for the two nights but then there is an additional charge of $141.13 . There is also a third charge of $41.00 for dinner Saturday night which I think is way over priced. I know mistakes happen but my real problem is I can't seem to get the problem resolved. I called the hotel, six times before I finally got someone to answer the phone. When I finally got to talk to someone at the hotel they referred me to another number where I spoke to someone who was very nice on the phone but spoke very broken English with a Spanish accent. After a long struggle with the broken English I finally got her to understand the nature of my problem. She apologized for the mistake and told me she would check into it and refund my money back to my card. It has been two weeks and my money has still not been put back on my card. I thought the hotel was nice enough for most normal people so I'm not going to say do not stay there but I do recommend this: Only pay in cash, do not give them access to your debit or credit card and go out for dinner. Breakfast was actually pretty good. ...
