I decided to come back and edit this, now that is an option! I will never go here again. Though this experience took place over a year ago, my feelings have not changed. Not only was this a not good experience it took place on my wedding weekend! Thank goodness this experience in no way overshadowed our special, however, it wasn't warranted. No one deserves the level of service and threat to safety that this establishment provided. Plus their customer service needs work. I noticed that the first part of my review might not have been able to be included here. However, all else said still stands. Such an upsetting time for me.
I take service and integrity so serious. I want to be my best and honestly, I expect others who are in service to be their best as well so when you have such a distasteful experience it is truly disheartening and during such a special moment too. Thankful that all did ultimately workout and I jumped the broom just fine!
Continued….August 6th! She didn’t understand any of the information I was providing regarding the accommodations put in place for reservations for my wedding. Jennifer who was assisting me was off for the weekend. She then called Jennifer, called me back and still I didn’t feel like anything was really handled. I asked to speak with Terrance who spoke with my uncle. I was firm and direct, and very upset. I let Terrance know that what took place was completely mishandled and the mere fact that I was just at the hotel a few days prior and met with him and Jennifer none of this should have happened. I let him know how I did my due diligence as a customer to call and inquiry about anything that could have been needed given the delayed arrival of my uncle. I let him know I was assured all 3 times, he was going to be taken care of. He then proceeded to tell me what he would have done if he was working the night before. I let Terrance know, that’s not how business is ran. Your staff should be equipped to handle customers as needed. What did not take place was not helping me or my uncle currently. He proceeded to tell me the reservation was lost. I told him, I said he was charged an early Check in fee…Which means there had to be a reservation somewhere. He then told me it canceled out and my uncle had to make a new reservation. I told him absolutely NOT. I told him three things. My uncle was not leaving that room He needed to do what was necessary to get the reservation situated in their system. The staff member who worked over night needed to be trained so that they are all on the same page. I let him know again who my uncle was. How much this meant to me because of his involvement with my wedding and that this is a day before my wedding and I do not appreciate being inconvenienced and then told them that either of us has to do something to correct the Inconvenience! It was highly upsetting, inconsiderate and not professional. My sister went to the hotel, met with my uncle talked with Terrance to make sure what needed to be corrected was and that there would be no problem from that point on. As I said in my previous post the hotel itself is beautiful. The staff and service is horrible. I take customer service very serious and this is one experience I do not want to relive. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not stay here every again!...
Read moreOn June 14th-17th ; My spouse and I decided to stay at this location , which we have previously done before . We were welcomed with a non eager staff upon our arrival . It took longer than usual to get checked into our room . Once getting into our room , our routine to check our room throughly commenced and within checking we found NUMEROUS issues (pictures can be provided) ex; pee stains , dirty lamps shades and brown spots throughout the bed.
After our discovery we notified the front desk at the moment (Tanisha) which he accommodated by giving a new comfort set . Which was still not pleasing to me and my spouse due to the fact; say if the sheets were moved the problems still showed , the lamp dirtiness was still visible.
Other than that reason our stay was good, good breakfast and a good location . Due to my spouse being out of state and we wanted to stay off the road; we decided to stay another night BUT in a different room , expecting to get compensated (which was promised by front desk ) with at least a discount due to the fact our first room was out of shaped .
I expected to speak to the General Manager which I was told by (Crystal and Tanisha) would be present during certain times and we either missed her or she was no where to be found.
On our last day we made arrangements to stay another day at this location but when I called the front desk hoping to speak to the General Manager which I’ve been told would be there at 10am never showed up. An Employee named Jennifer informed me on the GM’s absence .
I then proceeded to ask for another room with an accommodation of a discount due to the first room dirtiness after I said those words , Jennifer whole attitude changed to the point , I was being talked over , hung up on and disrespected .
I took it upon myself to make the reservation over the phone because Jennifer told me she would not honor my reservation after I asked why She gave me NO clear answer !
I made my reservation over the phone with customer service , ending in receiving a cancellation on my reservation caused by Jennifer . I called Jennifer and she rudely again hung up on me and demanded me to be out of the hotel by 12 once again for no reason !! At all ! Not once gave my partner and I a reason on her pettiness .
My experience with this location was something I will never forget. All because of miscommunication, unhonoring guest request and just being plain out disrespectful and miserable .

Read moreThe renovated hotel was beautiful on the inside. Especially the showers. But all that beauty was overshadowed by the staff and their ugly attitudes.
I placed a wake up call for 9:35 and never received it, as a result I ended up being late for work. But it does not stop there: apparently the woman named Melissa who was very polite and knowledgeable, so I assumed, charged the wrong card. we booked through Expedia and was charged to Expedia but somehow we had a charge of $83 show up and get deducted. When we asked the front desk person about this in the morning time they told us it was just an incidental fee and it would roll off in the next few days.
For some reason that did not feel right and so we went back inside before we left the hotel and asked one more time. He repeated his response. we then called Expedia since they were the people we booked through and they informed us that after speaking with the hotel our personal card was charged instead of the ghost card that they were supposed to charge, and that they would be refunding the money. This was frustrating to hear since we asked him twice and he lied to our face twice and coupled with the lack of a wake-up call we wanted compensation.
I informed the front desk person that I was informed by Expedia what actually happened in that due to his dishonesty and the way he was apathetic about our non-existing wake-up call that we wanted service recovery.
We asked to speak to the manager and were informed that she was busy and that we should call back in the next hour. We informed him that we had to find a solution immediately since the amount that was taken from my account was ridiculously large.
he then became impatient and snapped back at me informing me to listen what to what he said and that his manager would tell us the same exact thing. five minutes later the manager was on the line speaking to us and she informed us that since we paid through Expedia, they would authorize our card for our full length of stay and that she was doing us a favor by not charging more. She lied to us and informed us that she was in fact standing next to Terrell, the front desk guy the whole time and that she never heard him say that we should call back within the next hour. when for impaired that we were on our way back to another town an hour away and she scoffed and repeated the town named as if there was something wrong.
